I liked the trailer. I don't see a problem with being reminded of the strength we had to be able to go through our horror and then have the strength to raise ourselves out of it. This is a stark contrast between the sagging, ass out, drug and alcohol comma induced, wont bust a grape against your true enemy culture of today.
Once upon a time, the Black man and woman were venerated as Gods all over the earth. The damn Greeks, who the western world derives its cultre from, said their God's came from Ethiopia.
Hell I'm ready to see Desalines, Hannibal, Nzinga, and Candace go to work on the big screen. Even Robert Smalls and Frederick Douglas putting in work. Where you at Spike Lee?
