Who's Watching The Bet Awards Show?

Beyonce Knowles...that's all I gots to say.
Baby you are so Fine, but can you atleast try to sing 2 lines to any of your songs?

Ashanti....FINE, but heffa you cant sing!!!!

Vivica A. Fox.....Damn you Beautiful.

50 Cents: He represented (for once) even though his back up cats was still rapping 75% of songs. Stevie Wonder showed you love dawg!!!!! That was the highlight of the Night for me.

The Brat: Is she aint G_Y!!!! Why did Lisa Raye finally acknowlegde that was her sister.

Latoya Jackson: No comment

B2K: If one of yall aint Punking, I dont know who is. Puffy & B2K ripped it up though.

MOnique: Did a GREAT JOB!!!!!!! She had me rolling when she went off on Tiny Lester. :lmao:

Bow Wow: You was the Star last year, now you doing wack songs that no one has heard of on the RED Carpet....S _ _.

BoneCrushers: Please put your shirt back on dawg. ATL was representing though.

Snoop Dawg: I see you still have like 50 niggras in your crew. We all saw Suge Knight there at the awards. Snoop....eat something dawg. When Pharell is bigger than you....its a problem.

Nick Cannon: He still riding the DRUMLINE fame. I aint mad at you dawg. But J. Anthony need to sit his azz down.

GREAT AWard show. Of Course it was mad Ghetto, but thats how our people do it.

Rrah Ripped it up on the real.

Lil Kim forgot the words to her song. That chick was high that whole night.

India Arie was GREAT!!!!!!

Again.....Ashanti, you are FINE, but you can not sing!!!!!

Glad that Mary J and PUffy are going to go back to doing music again.

She didn't forget the words...she forgot that she was on LIVE television...she froze up when she said the "N" word.

Even worst. It's the Jump off!!!!!

MJ's "forced" performance w/the Godfather was indeed the highlight of the show. I think he scored pts. w/the black community last night, especially after acknowledging what he learned from JB. Bandfan...you're right bout Vivica!!:eek2: :eek2:
But on Beyonce, gotta disagree. You can't dance like that and be expected to have enough breath to really sang. :o

Good Show. I went Crazy when Micheal Jackson came out. I told the wife Mike made a lot of points when he did that. Did you see that James was ready to do a full concert after Micheal started to sing. James at 72 is still ready.

Surprised Everybody when he came out.

R Kelly's performance was good but the singing was questionable.

Last Words: James and Micheal.

You noticed that too?!?!? Man, that would have been one of those moments...like Mike's Motown 25 breakout. I thought the JMJ tribute was hot too. Who knew Jazzy Jeff could scratch like that. I knew he had skills but whoa!!

The Highlight for me was:

When Stevie Wonder pulled out his Harmonica and played "21 Questions" for 50 Cents. That is much props to 50 from one of the Greats.

Why was he standing there thinking "damn, that song sound familiar".

where was Ja?

The show had it's great moments, good moments, and moments that they could've kept. All in all, good show BET.

Great:

Magic Johnson's acceptance speech. To hear him say, "I'm getting an award for something that I should be doing." Says a lot about him, and his plea to the other millionaires in the audience to remember from whence they came, and to be smart with their money, was truly unexpected, but very welcomed.

The James Brown tribute was off the hook. I'm just mad that Michael stole James' spotlight, but it just goes to show that Mike still has it, no matter how wackey some think he is.

James "Tiny" Lister as Debo. His spots were funny as hell, and kudos to person to think of that. I thought it was very original, and hilarious.

The JMJ Tribute, was really cool. FAB 5, you must be really young, or you didn't follow hip-hop. In his day Jeff was arguably the best DJ behind the wheels of steal. Last night showed that he still has it, but I've seen better from him. It was also good to see Granmaster Flash actually doing some cutting, other than the little Chris Rock would let him do.

B2K's entrance, now that was cool.

Good:

Monique, considering this was her first time hosting a big show, I thought she did a good job. Though I didn't care for her begging the camera man to show off her shoes, she kept it real.

R Kelly's performance. It wasn't what I thought it would be, but nonetheless a good performance.

Stevie Wonder, nuff said.

Yolanda Adams, and Donnie McClurkin's performance, they did a helluva job, but they just didn't look comfortbable on stage, and with that audience of characters, who could blame them. Especially since they were the only gospel folk there.

Beyonce's stage, BET really stepped up with that one.

Terrible:

Lil Kim's performance, and her inability to read the teleprompter.

Usher being High as a lunar satellite, and Chili for not being that far behind.

As good as Vivica Fox looked, could she possibly be any more ghetto?

Nick Cannon's suit. That sucka was so shiney, I thought Reynold's had just signed him to promote some new aluminum foil, or something.

NICE

This had to be the highlight of the show. Also that introduction of James Brown by Steve Harvey had to make every Rapper in there stand up and take notice. CEO Bob Johnson and Magic Johnson also made so good points to them about their future finances. I think the show was done exceptionally well. It wasn't Ghetto, it was just Black Folks.

What was up with R. KELLEY talking about all the love and offering to loan money to anyone who needed it? Anyone got his #. LOL.

I couldn't do anything but shake my head. I thought he was trying to "win" his way back into the "IN" crowd. He shouldn't loan anyone a dime....it's obvious the fans and other artists still love him...he's still producing and making hits.

Before you tell him that, give him my name so he can have direct deposit set up for me. :D

Key word being arguably. I'm sure Grandmaster Flash and Cut Creator fans will have something to say bout that. But what I was saying was I knew Jazzy was nice but moreso as a producer especially when he and Will was puttin' it down and even now still. Maybe you've seen him live where he could really showcase his skills on the wheels. For me, that was the first time I've seen him in the spotight w/a chance to get straight ig'nant.

DAMN, ASHANTI you cant sing.

That sista got 2 moves: Move hips to the left and point to the audience AND Move hips to the rifht and point to herself.

She need some singing and choreography lessons Quickly. I hope that she has some writing credits on the album, cause Murda Inc. could be bleeding her dry.

....and if she say the word "Baby" one more time......:redhot:

At about 6 p.m. pst, breaking news came across talking about people were arrested outside of the Kodak Theatre for being in possesion of body armor. It just happened to be Snoops people. Because of that my interest in the show left rather fast. I did look for a minute but just turned it.
