It's stupid cuz everyone will get on here and say oh my band camp is the hardest and so on and so on. U can't determine whose band camp is harder unless u a old azz person that has been in several bands and crabbed several times. Even if you have a friend in another band, they will exagerate their camp to make it seem harder than your's and vice versa.
But..........its just my opinion![]()
As you were...................:lmao:

Actually, I don't think it's a stupid question at all!
Anyhoo, I don't know if the year I was in band would be considered the "hardest" band camp days.
I marched in the BOOM from 1994-97.
Our days began at 6 a.m., and if you were a "crab," it was earlier than that.
My freshman year, we started out at 5:45 a.m. on the parking lot of the music building. George, military dude who played trumpet, was our instructor. We did everything: jumping jacks while singing "Crabs don't get tired, 'cause Crabs love the BOOM!" ... and other stuff that was expected: push ups, sit-up, six inches, etc. After we did all that, we ran the ENTIRE campus.
Morning and early afternoons were spent on music and once it got cooler in the days, we worked on marching. And then in the early evenings until night, we practiced on music.
We got maybe about 4-5 hours of sleep, if we were lucky... and depending on what section you played in, you were lucky if you got ANY sleep at all, because upperclassmen had you doing other things...
I lost about 10 lbs. or more that summer....
