Who Agrees with the Odums Philosophy Relative to Transfers?

In fewer words, what Bighead is trying to say is that Odoms is dumb. When it comes to in-game adjustments, his name fit's his coaching IQ. Is that about right BH?

I wouldn't call the dude dumb, but I would say if we are on a grading scale, he'll receive a D plus, everybody else is on F status, Fobbs is with Odums as having a D plus, I mean he's better with in game decision and can be better than the rest of the coaches in this league. So that's very telling about the coaches in this shitty league if Odums is a better coach than everybody in this league IMO.

Who do you think has the highest coaching IQ in this league, I'm curious to know?

Dude, Odoms' name shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence with Fobbs.
Odoms is a below to average coach....on offense. He gets a D- for defense.
Fobbs has already proven his worth by going 32-2 in the SWAC.

I aint mad at your opinion

Fobbs gets the nod as being a better coach at preparing his kids when facing teams outside the SWAC,

Fobbs gets the nod for out-coaching Odums in Head 2 Head match-ups

But again both are on the same level, Odums clearly at one time, owned every team in this conference with the exception of Alcorn, you do know we represented the West in 13, and 14

Lol. I have already logged in my reports on PV’s Issac James, and Joshua Smith. Those are two names that the SWAC will know after they get their time to shine. Bet the house on it.
I don’t know them but Chris Johnson transfer from Tulane, out of BR’s Scotlandville Magnet, will be a star. I’m still pissed lol.

How in the world does @Bighead really justify giving Fobbs a D plus when that man is dominating SWAC play? Fobbs has a losing record outside of the conference just like most SWAC coaches have had in the past 20 years. The SWAC is weak, but Fobbs has proven himself to be “at least” a B minus level coach at the FCS level after wins vs NCCU and Northwestern and tough fights vs A&T, Lamar, Cookman, and P5 Arizona. One could give him an A minus. Odums deserves more respect as well. There is no way SU should have been winning with the limited practice time and no spring ball that they faced. From looking at the media day, Odums has a different swagger about what he is getting ready to put on the field.

I agree 100 percent! Coach O in passed years was learning how to be a head coach. He has taking bits and pieces from coaches he's faced. Have yall noticed all the quarterbacks he has on the roster are dual threat qbs? Those are the quarterbacks who has had success against our team. This year Coach O will show people that he has grown as a head coach. Watch!!

Didn't Odums not run the SWAC west in 2013 & 2014 and at the very start of the 2015 had the best team in the SWAC, hell even the coach from Bama St said SU was the better team outta the 3 that he had faced

I think you dudes really don't study anything about football. Casual fans at best

Agreed but to each his own.

Breh, it's deeper than looking at how we beat these SWAC teams that we are supposed to beat

I go a bit harder in the PR about how things should be played out. Breh Fobbs beat NCCU and NWST but yet SU is dayum up at half or the game is close then Odums forgets how to make in-game adjustments, again, going back to what I said about the dude.

Fobbs isn't doing anything in my view to separate dude from Odums other than what I stated in my previous post, having his guys be competitive against schools outside of Swac play, neither is Odums, which I compared his head to head matchup with Alcorn who has also given us the blues.

Alcorn doesn't have as many transfers yet, we can't beat Alcorn, 1 time Odums has beaten this team.

So again, thus me ranking him at a D level with the talent that we have. It's no shot at him, I aint the coddling fan, I call it, like I see it. Most don't want to, and that's cool, but to sit up here and state Fobbs are not the same that's crazy, again, Odums ran the Swac west from 13-15

I didn't realize we had 28 transfers, unless they are counting our total # of transfers which date to last season and prior(?). That sure is high. I thought we had 20 something signees this past spring and 2-3 this summer but of those only 11-13 were txfers... (from memory)

They are counting all xfers on your team. 28 not so bad when you look at it that way lol.
