Who’s Better, Norfolk State’s Walley or Jackson State’s Therriault?

If you only knew.

There are writers and historians who have never seen Babe Ruth play. But many of those people consider him the greatest baseball player of all-time based on examining his stats and hearing and reading the numerous accounts of his on-field feats. Go read Joe Posnanski's blog at SI. He compares athletes who he's never seen perform all the time.

I never saw Steve McNair play at Alcorn State. However, after learning about his days as a Brave through spoken and written stories, I can say he probably was the best SWAC QB ever. I could same the same thing about Jerry Rice.

And to say I wasn't knowledgeable is laughable at best. These JSU folks just didn't agree with my opinion. Besides, there was a story written in the Clarion-Ledger a few weeks ago asking if SWAC defenses had figured out the JSU offense after Casey threw six picks against Bama State and 13 during a seven-game stretch going back to last season.

This is just a classic case of the faithful sticking up for their guy. It's that tribal instinct as fans to do so.

I'm going let Kendrick explain that "these JSU folks" comment before I give my opinion.

After all that kendrick said...giving you one example after another, all you got out it was "these JSU folks".

:smh:

Hey guys, lets stick to the thread. Everyone has a right to opinion, whether we agree with it or not. I personally think the QB from Hampton, Legree is better than them both.

These JSU folks who are having a hissy fit over an opinion.

You have a way with words, man. You should have used that response instead of saying "these JSU people", which is similar to someone Black referring to Black people as "you people".

Tighten up, man. :tup:

Takes one to know one.
Wasnt even talking to you
stick to bad articles
poor unresearched writing
boring unnecessary baseball/hockey (insert topic here) threads
and letting folks use you

Right now you are turning into an attention whore. That might be the issue more than the poor writing.

This is good.
:read::read:

:lol::lol:

but seriously, I don't see nothing wrong with the article. I guess to some folks (these Jsu folks :snicker: ) nothing about the great Casey can be questioned, nobody can even be compared to him. He is just THAT great. :retard::retard:
:smh:

Leave em alone... They had Rutland and Woody!

JSU folks are so fake and phony. How yall gone deny a JSU grad access to your forum? This dude actually put hard sweat and tears in for your sorry, pathetic athletic department playing baseball and this how yall treat him? That is a damn shame. You JSU folks better never start a topic or talk about White Universities and how they do black athletics. I am going to run yall azz off this board if you do. :tup:

Kendrick might have jumped the gun with this article...he really should have waited until after the Grambling game.

He could then say, "Ya see, I told ya!"

Maybe next kendrick can do a comparison with Casey and pops good buddy, Steve Haren. yeah, Casey may have the stats ("these" Jsu folks love stats :scared: ) but Haren didn't play in a "system" where he was slinging it 67 times a game. He managed the game better and didn't turn it over as much.

CEE,
LOL!

James Bell would get his azz kicked if he messed over Terry Hope...handshake nothing, it would be a neck shaking!

The sad part is JSU fans disrespect Robert Kent for just slinging it, but praise the GWH for doing the samething. It shows this how they are raised!!
