I'mma have to take a tour of the campus, I NEED TO SEE all of this!!

I haven't been on campus in YEARS! :shame:

Robber, if you're jealous....I know I am gonna be PISSED!!

But I'm glad for the young'uns....

SLT those cats got it made and I graduated in 97. Funny what 10 years a do.

The new school of engineering, the new union, both sets of new apartments, the coed dorms over by the honors dorm, health welsness, business building, liberal arts building. The new health center man we had to go to that little house by the old Charles F Moore Business building. And the Walter Payton complex with the wellness center, sofball, tennis, now new baseball park and hopefully stadium. What will it look like int he next five.

I love it.

It's not in JSU's way....................This is just another example of how BAD UMC and the Hospital complex need that land.
The more pressure UMC put's on the ledgislature for facilities, the better the chance that land will be aquired for UMC's expansion.
That place would generate millions and millions in tax money for this city and region.

There is only 1 place in that area left for them to build.

That 1,000,000 ton concrete roadblock is beginning to look more and more like the WHITE Elephant it is as for developing that area.

Not to mention all the complaints from emergency crews trying to get to the hospitals on game day because of the traffic.

Dang...Thanks....I forgot all about the UMC wants the land story !!!!!!! :splat:
Word has already leaked out that the Backyard burgers and the oil change place SOLD their land because UMC is about to build a hotel or something in that stop...

Amazing that the High Class Restaraunt IS STILL going to be on the CORNER!!

Shinnels was smart.

They built JUST OFF Memorial property.

The State has been trying to lease the GREEN SPOTS at Memorial every since the renovation started.

Backyard and Penzoil was the only two businesses that did this.
The West Street side was open for the same thing.

Businesses didn't bite because like you said, THEY IN THE KNOW ABOUT UMC and Memorial.
Nobody is trying to start a business with the possibility that you will have to relocate in the future.
Just like all those Multi-Million dollar Mansions surrounding the waterfront at the Reservior, THE HOMEOWNERS DO NOT OWN THE LAND.............IT'S LEASED.
Same with those businesses at Memorial.
.

Shimmel's picked that spot because they will never have to move unless they offer them a shat load of money for that land.
They don't care because whatever happens, it's all good for them.

Yep, and JSU gets all that land that Blackburn currently sits on. I'm just trying to figure out where they'll put the new Blackburn. The only location I could think of is where the Tin Man operates.

I did not think that Blackburn moving was in the plans??? If so...I'm new to hearing about it..
