96 was definately the year for "Believe In Me".

I was in WHS's band that year the "S" went against PV. So, the director has us at the bottom of PV's band, cuz he wants to talk to us, right?. SU was buss'n that arse with "Believe" (which sounded technical as he11, and was straight making believers out of all of us)......so, Prof Edwards waited so he could think. *And Down!!!*..........blah blah blah come to PV....yada yada PV's good.....then, outta no where, the tubas crank up the intro to "Let Ya Mind Be Free"....lol......OVER!

Prof E- I'd also like to say...........

SU- *crankin "Free"....in Robertson....so, it's everywhere.... :lol: *

Prof E- that........*now hollering at level 10*......we at...*pauses a sec*...can yall hear me?! Come in closer if you can't hear me!!!

Students- What?!?

LOL....long story short, I began the night the only one talking about going to the "U". And, left with more recruits than PV did.

I wanna hear "Melodies from Heaven", "Who Can I Run To", and "Lift Every Voice" again.

MAGIC MIND(i STILL have not heard our version of this!!!) But a tune like that has GOT to be a killa.

yeah Prof hoed us that night. we spent all week stacking our book and got to game and had to watch WHS play. the worse part about all of that... we havn't had a recruit from WHS sense:shame: my entire high school career i'd been waiting to sit across the feild from SU either at JSU or PVU and ended up watching WHS battle SU. :shame: Needless to say that was a big fat "L" for the Storm.
 
LOL...Yeah that night was pretty bad for the Storm. And the killer part is that y'all had a book.

Did the "L" drill off of it? That was "Miss You Much" by Janet Jackson.
