Nobody says anythimg about those folks beacuse they didn't play them all the time when they appeared in tv or movies.
Nobody said it about Jaleel White, Jim Carey, Monty Python, Benny Hill, Flip Wilson, Tracey Ulman (who does it ALL the time on her shows), Nick Cannon, Kel Mitchel or Larry Johnson. When you ask folks about these folks, Jamie and Martin-they are not going to bring up those roles.
Tyler Perry-Madea linked together until he plays a role that makes folks forget about Madea. When folks think about Levar Burton-what two roles come to mind? Kunta or Laforge. Drake-the rapper or Jimmy from Degrassi.
And I do remember Jamie Foxx bashed Wanda himself. He got tired of playing her when he was doing a show with Envogue. He got turned off by the role when he notice he had bigger breast than the girls. Vibe Magazine from 98 or 99.

All these sorry excuse of men that lay up and make babies all over the place. No excuse for any man to have 5-10 kids by 5-10 different women. NOR is it acceptable for a woman to allow herself to be played like that.
Kids BEGGING cops to put them in jail. because they don't want to be the only kid in thier hood that hasn't been locked up.
People that do EVERYTHING in theri power to keep everyone else down. From beating up or KILLING the one kid that wants to be more than a stat in the hood. To running off folks that want to help.
The morons that pose nude, pose with guns, perform sex acts and/or do drugs and have the nerve to post it online for everyone to see and wonder why they can't get a job.
The idiots that once they get out of jail run back to the same clowns that got them locked up in the first place-because they value that hood card more than they value thier life.
The dumb black kid tha rejects an education because his idol is some rapper (who gradauted high school adn college) who he think is just like him some dumb f*ck that dropout of school.
And finally those SWAC presidents that refuse to get with the freaking program. Putting out horrible basketball teams and then get mad when alum don't support.
What one needs to keep in mind that "whites" are the originators of it by keeping "blacks" from being educated and then try to CALL ONE STUPID!!!!!!! This is c**nery, Buffoonery, Coonfest(which is a foolish act made into a public display). On a side note I went to a gathering when I was a Grambling it was called "****** Day" and boy I had this bad feeling inside when I went :noidea: :goof: :lmao: but it was nothing but a gathering people showing off their low riders and women wearing there shorts which was typical and their was nothing out of the ordinary about it but the name itself would seem to suggest c**nery and etc. I know that is what those white people was thinking but it never seemed to bother those "blacks" that were there because it was a normal thing like the "Mardi Gras!"

The original Poster asked a question and I told them where to find the answer and get a fuller picture of the concept.
In typical black folks fashion, a second poster comes in and says that is not good enough, I want the actual definition, and I gave them the one that I go by.
Well, true to black folks creed, another one still wasn't satisfied, I so listed three perfect examples and they go off and start talking about "coming to america"
You got to remember panth, it was black folks who tried to convince Harriett Tubman that Slavery wasn't so bad.

i agree with the examples and the definition you gave for cooning with the videos. By your definition, TP aint cooning when he produced, directed, and wrote those plays. He is a self made black man. He didnt sell out to any white man. I cant understand how a man that went from homeless to a millionaire the honest way gets so much flack. Where JayZ sold crack to other black people and folks say he is a hero. My point was that if you dont like some of the things that black people do as far as entertainment dont call it cooning. To me, Michael Steele is a c**n. He was picked by the repubs so bring black voters can come to the republican party. Repubs dont give a flying fukk what happened to black people as long as the rich keep getting richer.
We need to call out some of these black men having kids by all these women or these video hoes trying to call what they do as a career. They are the ones who are ruining our communities and in a way cooning.
And I sooooooooooooo agree with the Harriet Tubman statement. Its a shame she had to basically put a gun to people's head to make them want freedom.

I agree with that about video chicks and dead beat daddies. I never called TP a "c**n." I simply stated that I was not a fan of the majority of his work. However, I do like a few of his movies, the more in-depth movies like Why did I get married, and The Family that Preys.
