I did not remove it.IT IS PUBLIC NEWS REPORTED ON THE ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION.
UNLESS KENN TOOK IT DOWN, I believe it is newsworty and worthy OF PRAYER!
Father,
Right now I am spiritually pissed-off about this incident. It smears the Church and marrs your image in the eyes of the world. It hurts millions who have been influenced by the ministry of both Bynum and Weeks. My bones ache. It makes me sick. I hate the devil.
At the same time it is also liberating for many people who were caught up in personalities other than Yours. I pray that you will free us up from going hard after anyone but You.
Father, I pray that you will heal the wounds - natural, spiritual, and emotional - of both Weeks and Bynum. Heal them and bring them to brokenness. Let it be a signal for all of us to consider our ways, our marriages, our families, and our loves, to keep them before You.
I ask this of You in the authority of Your only begotten Son.
Amen.

Just the other day, someone started a thread about prayers for marriages...talk about timely.
I want to say a lot about this situatiin, but sometimes it's better to keep your comments to yourself..... some may not understand my position.
Father,
I am spiritually pissed-off
...This does not ?smear? the church. It only cast a dark shadow in the Bynum?s, not the church...
I wish this was the case. Alas, it is not. When we name the name of Christ and blow it like this publicly, it does smear the church. Thankfully, the blood of Jesus and the water of the Word are there to cleanse us again. The church will recover.
Maybe the spirit told her to stay away but she went against the discernment, like WE ALL do from time to time.?If she is truly a minister of God and filled with the Holy Spirit,? her spiritual discernment would have instructed her to stay away from him, especially if he has been showing signs of anger.
Well if he is truly a minister of God, shouldn't his spirit have discerned that he wasn't going to treat this woman with respect? Warning him to stay away from her?
Come on people!
Gul, you know its always the woman's fault! Come on now Blu! :goof:
You're right, the spirit, the bible, our common sense warns us to do the right thing but we all sometimes disobey. That's flesh. Doesn't mean we're not good christians, just means we mess up sometimes.Well if he is truly a minister of God, shouldn't his spirit have discerned that he wasn't going to treat this woman with respect? Warning him to stay away from her?
Come on people!
