They traded the team for another football field. That makes 8 football fields now.

BB,
Now, they ride around huntsville, promising free poundcake and chicken to anyone who will participate in the baseball game. They do this at least once a week. Jennings removed baseball from their sports program and made the team an intramural team that just shows up so AAMU doesn't have to look too bad..:smh::smh::smh:

Yesterday, the NCAA asked us a serious question. They asked ?Alabama A&M is you DII or isn?t you DII?? For the life of me, I could not answer the question because I did not know.
(AAMU Alums cook while listening to Jennings farewell speech)
However, today I have stood, where John Stallworth once stood, and took an oath to my people. It is very appropriate then that from this Cradle of the Confederacy, this very Heart of Football country, that today we sound the drum for our rightful place as have our generations of forebears before us done, time and time again through history. Let us rise to the call of freedom-loving blood that is in us and send our answer to the tyranny that clanks its chains upon the SWAC. In the name of the people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny . . . and I say . . . DII Today? DII tomorrow?. DII Forever
