Bird,
Don't mind Suge and GR. They are the founders of the kobe fan club!

Bird123,

Fantasy sports are games that allow participants to score points based on the performance of individual players of a given sport. There are different ways to play, but the most popular are head-to-head and rotisserie.

You select your players, and change them as you see fit, and their performance determines your team's score. Depending on the type of league you are in (head-to-head, rotisserie, etc...) your score gets a ranking. I'ma stop here, because the explanation can be endless.

I suggest you go to a fantasy sports site and read the rules for any sport. It'll give you an idea as to how all are played.

And I used to think it was for nerds, too. Then I messed around and got talked into joining a league. It's fun as hell to play. You can actually develop an interest in more games because you got players that will be playing for teams other than your favorite. I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan, but I look for my players to do well, so I cheer for their team to get my player the ball and into the endzone.
