Week 2 - Other Football Games


Early in the day when it was Northwestern and Purdue getting pounded by MAC teams, people were not that shocked although it raised some eyebrows. When your "elite" teams all got blasted, that only confirmed what most have said for a while: Big 10 football is way overrated.

Va Tech dominated OSU. They let them come back to tie in at 21 and then realized they were Va Tech and shut them out.

Michigan got shut out by a ND team that will probably go 8-4/9-3 this year.

Michigan State had to keep up with Oregon and that's just hard to do. They're still the best team in the Big 10 but after Saturday thats not saying much

I had an excellent time there. Wouldn't trade it for anything, but I've never been a Big Ten fan and probably never will be.
Guess it takes a lot more than Michigan State to get the South out of me though.
 
It was certainly a tough day for B1G.......It even took a miracle for Nebraska to get past McNeese. :lol: :emlaugh:

THIS, had UT not UNILATERALLY tried to split the conference and jet to the Pac 12 they would still have A&M under their thumb. The LHN was just icing on the cake. That prompted the move to the SEC by A&M. What Hubris, Greed and Arrogance!

Losing Nebraska, especially for football, and Missouri, especially for basketball, did not help either.

..and just think, not so long ago, people were tryna leave the ACC out... saying it was gonna be SEC, Pac-12, Big 12 and Big 10.
