Watching Southern vs. Holy Cross

If SU starts playing these boys like they are a 14-19 team, they we blow them away. These guys are better than SU. They aren't faster, and the don't seem bigger. SU has the momentum going into the have after that run.

We ended the half on a run. Gotta get them in the full court defense to speed them up on offense. Get in transition

And deservedly so. Surely Banks has faced a 1-3-1 zone before. We had a 2-1-2 offense back in the day at the Lab school that would carve that thing up quite nicely. :cool: But they MUST move the ball more quickly.
 
The short corner and the post is open all night. SU has made the correct adjustments. In this chess match, if Holy Cross take away the post play, SU guards should have a field day.
 



SU just take what they give u. Dnt force NOTHING. Keep going for those two's if they are there. 5 two's equal 10 and 2 threes equal 6. You still can win with those two's, u Dnt have to go for those threes and they aren't there..Just keep putting them up there. Go SWAC.
 
SU is still playing these boys with too much respect. Holy Cross is slow and garbage. If SU drives to the basket instead of toss up all of those ugly 3's, the Jags would be up by at least 10 points at this point.
 
We still are moving the ball across the zone too slowly and are not getting shooters/drivers in both corners along the baseline.

Come on Banks! You explained before the start of the half what you needed to do, but you ain't doing it!!!!
