Much to do about nothing. LOL. Flexing correct. China and US be doing this to keep folks from thinking we are bed buddies.
 
China thinks that they can build islands in the China Sea, they claim all of the China sea is their territory, then block shipping lanes if they want.

Ironically, the United States had to save China during WWII for the same reasons for what they are trying to do now. During WWII, Japan was invading and kicking every country's azz in the Pacific and the China Sea for their natural resources. The way I see it, since the days of the Mongolian Empire and Genghis Khan, whichever Asian nation has the most power, they will be a threat to the other weaker Asian nations. Also, like today's China, the United States helped to build Japan to the military power it once was prior to WWII.

Funny thing....I know that Chinese soldiers assist with the war against ISIS with US soldiers. It's all just so fugging ridiculous to me.

A big part of war is playing mind games and being DECEPTIVE. Create a delusional enemy with China, United States enemies will probably drop their guards to other presumed U.S. enemies. This type of war is cost effective with less casualties to our military. The warmongering Republican Party still believe in none cost efficient tactics, which is fighting brutal battles that create high casualties and is very costly. Reagan had three outdated WWII battleships placed into service just because he wanted to see big ships with big guns on them. In order to justify putting these battleships back into service, the Navy outfitted them with Tomahawk cruise missiles,, which has a much longer and effective range than the nine 16 inch guns on each Iowa-class battleship. When those ships were placed back into service, it damn near costed the Navy just as much or more to deploy those battleship versus an aircraft carrier. The warmongering Republican Party tactics only benefit rich military contractors, such as Halliburton who make tons of money on supplying the U.S. military during the period of long sustain combat wars.
