UFC....Rampage Jackson knocks out Iceman Liddell for the UFC Title

yeeeah....lmao

I saw this one coming ater seeing the first fight... :emlaugh:
I saw the first fight on youtube last week. Rampage really kicked his azz. Dude is so damn strong and HARD. Watching the video of last night (I'm wondering how/why UFC released actual video so soon), it appeared that Liddell remembered just how bad he got beat up the first time.

Now, there are some white dudes (Russian/Euro) over in Pride that have taken it to Rampage. I guess it's better to go to Pride and get battle tested, and then come to UFC to make a financial killing. The U.S. is where the money's at.

Rampage is the isht to me..plus he's gold on the mic....

For all the people that boo me....that's what your breff smell like boo-boo"

Ain't nothing extreme about what rampage did..that was a good old fashioned right hand to the jaw. That'll win just about any fight in boxing or in the octagon.

There is another brother running wild in extreme fighting...
I need to look up his information........

Dude was getting a armbar submission hold placed on him. The brother got up with the guy still holding on his arm and power bombed him!!!!! then beat him down!!!!!!

Plus for those of you that did not know....UFC BOUGHT PRIDE !!!

I think I know what you're referring to. If I remember correctly, that was RAMPAGE who power bombed that dude while the dude was trying to put an armbar on him.

That slam at the 4 minute mark of your video is the one I was referring to. Saw it while sitting in a sports bar. I was like, DAMN!!!

I don't know how to post videos, but I'ma try. Here's a shorter vid of Rampage's slams.

I see.

I been trying to figure how to post the thing. I pride myself on being a smart guy, but when it comes to posting videos and such, I'm a certified dummy. Took some time for me to figure out how easy it really was.

Do not feel bad....
there are still people that do you directly know how to reply to a post they want to comment :flippy:

Boxing is deep boo-boo.

UFC has a bright future as Boxing is slowly fading away.

Doubt it.
Boxing has been carried to the grave for decades and like Freddie Kruger, it keep's comming back.

UCF made $250,000,000 dollars last year.
The DeLahoya fight took in close to $150,000,000 in 1 FIGHT.
UCF got a loooooooooooong way to go.

Rampage cool and all, but I saw him get DESTROYED by Wanderlei Silva. I really think Pride is better than UFC. Pride has this dude named Fedor Emilieneko (sp?) that I think is the baddest man on the planet, and he isn't your classic "chiseled" fighter.

I like that dude name (SP)..spelling...Klithchoff......???

Dude wears Black tights with a right a white checker board like square. This man has some of the hardest Kicks I have ever seen !!!

I saw that Silva fight. He dogged Silva for 2 rounds. Then got caught. It was all downhill from there. It happens to everybody at some point or other, EXCEPT Fedor. What's with that guy. He is straight dominating everybody.

The UFC might have a long way to go as far as money goes, but it is better to watch than Boxing and don't have to worry about bogus decisions and judges. It was good to see Rampage KO The Iceman because that was all they talked about on ESPN like The Iceman was the man and their man got KO'ed.

Cosign.

Boxing still can get that one MEGA fight. How often does that fight come along? UFC is more entertaining to watch. I was shocked to see ESPN give it so much play. It is gradually making its way to the mainstream.

yeah, fedor's a beast.....He's been beating the snot out of folks in Pride for a good minute now. Rampage really didn't train well during his time in Pride, but he still was walking though cats like water. during he was walking through Wanderlei during their fight also before he got caught.

It looked like he was in better physical condition against Liddell. If dude is serious about training while he's in UFC, he's gonna be a handful for anybody to deal with...

The problem that boxing has is people don't watch the "normal" fights anymore. Everybody watches 2-3 matches a year on PPV, and base their opinion on boxing from those few fights. Great matches happen all the time, if you bother to watch all the fights shown on HBO, Showtime, ESPN, ESPN2. And there are a lot of boring MMA fights. Ground and pound can be very dull when the man on the ground is great defensively.
