TSU Tigers Football versus HBU tabbed “Houston Strong Game”
HOUSTON- Texas Southern Athletics has announced that their upcoming game versus the Houston Baptist Huskies has been tabbed "Houston Strong Game". All attendees of the contest that bring a canned good donation towards ongoing relief efforts to those affected by the recent catastrophic flooding will be eligible to receive discounted general admission tickets at $5 per ticket. There will be a limit of up to four general admission tickets per donation.

"With so much devastation going on right now due to the recent severe flooding in the Southeast region of our country we wanted to try our best to assist in helping some of the many families and individuals that have been impacted," said TSU Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Charles McClelland.

"The recovery process will take quite some time but times have shown that the City of Houston is resilient and will remain strong and steadfast towards its overall goal of putting people back on their feet and rebuilding this great city to even greater heights. The donations made at the game will undoubtedly go a long way towards recovery efforts as we look to provide a ray of hope to a community that has lost so much over the course of recent weeks," added McClelland.

They are giving 2 for 1 now as you can get comp tickets to the Alcorn game if you had tickets to the LDC. So you get to go to both games, Alcorn and PVAMU.


Those ticket holders who retained their tickets to the Labor Day Classic postponed to the Thanksgiving date in addition can receive the equivalent number of complimentary tickets for the Alcorn State at TSU football game scheduled for Friday, September 29 at 8:00 p.m. On game day, ticket holders present your PVAMU-TSU game tickets at the stadium box office to redeem your comp tickets.
