She kept her word on what she said she would do months ago. If you're going to ask big this is the biennium to do so. I hope at least 2/3 of the ask is appropriated.
The Lt. Gov. is focused on offering property tax relief to home owners and raising the cap on the homestead exemption. Due to that, the 33 billion state surplus pie will be carved into pretty heavily just for that purpose. Like the majority of homeowners though, I have no issue with that purpose.
