Garrison Johnson is a 6'6 guard lol what is Hugee 6"7 HA! We got 3 6'10 guys who will be happy to throw those lil hook shots back in his throat & dunk on him at the other end...Yawl have issues with jsu on our down year...I don't think yawl should showup next year...(seriously)

lol Hugee is the right size for what we need for him and IMO he IS the best player in the SWAC. :D Y'all got 3 6'10" lazy non-ballers. How would you know anything about our football...we haven't even wasted our time by playing yawl afterwhile yawl have no fan support & nobody wants to see another A&M & pv swac championship game that would feature no Fans/no money...Like I was saying we got guards bigger than Hugee...and a midget taller than awls pint sized point guard!...This is jsu's down year so that speaks volumes about the rest of the SWAC...smh...we r not the most talented,not the biggest...we just possess the best record lol and the best player!

#1 Hugee is undersized #2 we're not talking about football but you brought it up # 3 yea we started 0-10 but we're 9-1 in SWAC after losing our leading scorer,Caldwell to graduationg,Griffin to graduation,Chris Hyche to academics,Davon Jones to injury,Jenirro Bush to academics...With all of those guys gone & sitting out we shouldnt even be in the swac hunt but because of piss porr swac schools like PV...we are #1...we will talk football when football gets here! Its basketball season...I'm glad you point out how terrible we were outside of our conference...says alot about the talent we're competing against in our conference,yawl really do suck...I appreciate you showing me that honestly...Oh yea Hugee sucks and we got guards almost bigger than him lol

I don't care to talk football on a basketbal thread...I don't make excuses and I don't talk off subject...It was said that Hugee was the best player in the swac and He's not plain & simple....he's seriously not the best and far from it...Garrison Johnson is the best easily and the kid has nba potential everyone we played outside of the swac double teamed him...he has range,he's a great freethrow shooter and he can gaurd anyone on the floor....!!!! Jackson State has been the most dominant swac school in the past decade or decades..the commissioner's cup has went to us and it goes through us! Thats not smack thats fact and we should finish towards the top in all remaining sports except girls basketball...thats just being real,get mad if you want too...

TSU women blew a golden opportunity to defeat the Lady Panthers at the free-throw line. We all knew that TSU's 10-point lead would not not stand and that PV would mount a rally. We were horrible tonight making FTs.

I agree that PV has the best team in the SWAC and that it only makes the conference better as coaches will need to work harder at getting better recruits. I'm still proud of where our Lady Tigers are in the standings.
 
Our men's team wasn't able to get it done last night. Two of our best players fouled out of the game and we just did not have enough to take down the Panthers. I haven't looked at the final stats but we did not make a lot of 3-pointers (although we hit 2 in the last few seconds of the game) and missed too many FTs, and was very careless with the ball creating turnovers.
 
PV, I see that you guys have added a few more chair-back seating to replace the bleachers. I imagine these additional has decreased your oveall seating capacity of the Babydome?

Nice crowd last night- I must say that the PV students have shown up in big numbers for your last 3 home games.

It was a good showing for the Tiger Nationas well; our student section was nice along with alumni sprinkled throughout the arena.

Perhaps we'll get to play again in the SWAC Tournament with a different outcome.
 
for whatever reason..TSU students prefer to run to PV and claim TSU there than they did when the game is in Houston weird :confused:

They took 4 busloads of students

it's about the same....we don't sit all on top of each other anyway so give or take 40 seats...

considering the loss of Gatti, a hobbled Candice Thomas...the women played better than I thought....the crowd had a lot to do with the game and Darret was unstopable....
