McClelland has reached "legend" status before he even takes the job

PV..your turn to counter :emlaugh:

new stadium? basketball arena?

:emlaugh: No joke. Charles didn't waste any time. lol

I'm coming down w/ a load of bricks and Fiyah is bringing some concrete and a wheelbarrow and QuietStorm is supplying 4 shovels and we're gonna' start on PV's new stadium by our damned selves. Brick by brick. :emlaugh:

Seriously, I hope it happens. I'm REALLY sick and tired of us using overly expensive Reliant to play our yearly deal and I'm sick of us "begging" the 'others' (schools  ) to use their venues. :retard:

Hopefully the city of Houston will get behind this. But... i can see jealous assed rice and uofh sticking their hating noses in the matter to see what they can get out the deal too. :read:

Say Delock..any more renderings...

Now these are the types of partnerships that all schools should try to get...

get MLS involved, the city ...that equals reduced costs right there...about a 20,000 or some-odd seat stadium

:topic:
When(if) this facility comes to pass, can PV use it when they play SU instead of playing in Reliant or Tully?

This is a rendering for our OWN staduim.........The Dynamo have not selected one yet..

The Dynamo stadium will be a better deal than what BW at the Chronicle is reporting...a homecoming contest against Mississippi Valley at Delmar Stadium...

Who is this? That's not us

Not you guys, but a glimpse at Delmar Stadium -- home of TxSo Homecoming 2008 (according to Brandon Williams at the Chronicle)...probably some HS game considering Delmar hosts several each weekend. May have a game going on next door Dyer Stadium during the TxSo-Valley game...

ahhhhh....Brandon Williams at the Chronicle. Houston's realiable infomation source:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

TT,

What does that picture have to do with ANYTHING in this thread? You picked that picture in hopes of someone mistaking it for a previous TSU Homecoming.

I sure as hell hope not because NOBODY plays homecoming that early in the season 9/14/07. LOL .... Maybe those other color folks do down 45.

Look, didn't you and I already have a little discussion. I think you time and effort will be better used finding a place to hold ole sammy's annual auction. Don't worry your self about TSU so much.

Shows that TxSo is having to use other facilities than their own (still) for events as large as Homecoming. They are using Houston ISD's Delmar Stadium. Was not looking for people to misinterpret that it was TxSo Homecoming of a year ago or whenever...

Most of you on here have seen the current TxSo complex and know the picture I posted looks much better than that...not sure where the confusion would be.

TT,

Texas Southern has held homecoming on campus at Durley Field the past several years and don't be surprised due to "overwhelming influence" that it remains on campus but thanks for being in 3100 Cleburne's business as usual.

What is your point? The title of the thread speaks for itself. In case you can't read well or comprehend, i'll try to be as simple as possible. The point is that we are preparing to build a stadium. We may be partnering with Dynamo for that project. Whether we use someone else's stadium or our own, it is not your concern or business.

That's not factual...

As a Dynamo fan, I want what's best for the Dynamo. Having other dates in the stadium (i.e TxSo, boxing matches, etc) is great for the stadium. As long as the Dynamo keeps control of the stadium schedule, can wipe out the yardage after games and be able to play in a field that does not have a end zone during matches (the Cougars logo looks like crap during matches)...it's fine.

Ultimately, having a stadium is great and having TxSo involved is both political and business smart...

Go Dynamo!

What part of what I said was not what you consider factual? How about you allow TSU to tend to their business and you go find other fish to fry. We dont have any or shall I say NONE for you.
