TSPN Atlanta: What can you tell me about Austell?

First, thank you all for the suggestions! After looking around and not finding the townhome we wanted, we went back to apartments and settled in Smyrna.

We got married on the 28th of last month, moved up here on the 6th and I start work on the 13th. We are not too far away from the Cumberland Mall, which Mrs. 79. loves. I've already said a prayer for my wallet

Congrats bruh and best wishes. Welcome to the Atl!!!

Congrats on the Wedding, move and job. You have plenty of time to find a new home. Enjoy your new beginning.

Welcome! I work in Marietta and lived there for several years, but we're over in Gwinnett now. Smyrna is cool, especially if you are in the right areas.

I know that some people down renting, but you actually made a good choice by renting first. With the current housing market, if you are new to Metro Atlanta it is best to rent first, get a feel for the area, and then buy a home if you plan to stay for a while.

By the way, you'll need to say an extra prayer or two once your wife discovers Perimeter Mall and Phipps Plaza

Congrats and welcome to the A! Sounds like you're in a good central spot.

I like Cumberland Mall. Perimeter Mall is just a few exits up.
