Because many in the Grambling alumni influential circle wanted him gone. They complained constantly about the job he was doing. The kitchen got hot, Troy got out. Simple as that... Nothing more, and nothing less. At the end of the day, I believe Grambling has landed a much better candidate for the job. No knock on Troy at all, but with Dawson you see a vision and a very succinct message.

Arlington and GP are adjacent municipalities with very similar demographics, therefore you can't lie in one sentence referring to Arlington as ghetto and GP as this great city and ISD.
