Bruh now you are going to farrrrrrrr!!! If SU decides to do this then so be IT!!!!! Hell GRAM & SU go wayyyyyyyy back bruh were like sisters and brothers when it comes to dealing with real life issues. IT CALLED LOVE and if SU did this it would be nothing but LOVE from me to them. That would be something I WOULD NOT EVER FORGET!!!!! IMHO it about the person not the school but hey different strokes for different folks. WE ARE STILL GOING TO SEND HIM HOME IN STYLE!!!!!!

They did a nice tribute to Coach on 106&Park yesterday (BET). And ESPN has been stepping up too!!!
 
It's really nice to hear about the tributes to Mr Robinson. :tup: Hope every affected entity steps up, somehow. :) Unlike what <b>some</b> of these ill folx from Grambling/Southern/JacksonSt in here are suggesting. :emlaugh:

Where's GetReady? He needs to give a refresher on the <b>"No One Entity Is Above The SWAC"</b> speech one more gin. :lol: Where's TexasTerror? :emlaugh:

The one they did on NFL Network was tight too. Tomorrow at 4pm EST, and 3 central, they're going to run a special for coach on ESPN Classic, so set your DVR's, TiVo's, and VCR's.

The <b>SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE OWNS THE SWAC RECENTLY IN EVERYTHING RECENTLY (last 10 years). WON/LOSS RECORDS DO NOT LIE!</b>

Hope that angers some and opens the eyes of some who were unaware as to how BAD the SWAC really is. We're not dead last in RPI in damn near everything for nothing. :emlaugh:

GUD, I'm not saying that PV or any other affected entity should not pay respects because rightfully so, they should. What I AM saying is that his NAME should NOT APPEAR ON ANYTHING WHERE THE NAME "PVAMU" appears ON A SCHOOL SPONSORED JERSEY. :) I'm sure we'll pay tribute/homage. But, his name on a SCHOOL jersey/athletic wear? Hell naw! That DOES NOT fly bruh. Putting someone else ABOVE one of your OWN does NOT fly w/ me. There are TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many distinguished folx @ PV who've gone home that NEVER got that same respect. This would be like a slap in their face and me, I'm not standing for it.

Put the shoe on the other foot. What if @ the 100th year celebratory of SWAC existence names of 2 PV guys, who helped <b>create</b> this conference, were placed on Grambling jerseys/athletic wear? :read: You and others may not have a problem w/ it but I certainly do.

Well I guess with your logic there should never have been a holiday created to celebrate Martin Luther Kings' B-Day? I'm sure there were many people that did many things to fight for the equality of their fellow man just like King did but they aren't recognized with a holiday.

Can't get into that GMan75. I understand everyone's view. But, in the back of my mind and in the world I was <b>reared</b> in, it was 2 Fullers that set the tone for the SWAC and actually had a part in <b>creating</b> the SWAC. And even they are not above it. That's all I'm saying. Hopefully the ENTIRE conference will be careful how it elevates <b>one</b> over the many. :read:

I would hope that the SWAC office <b>officially</b> renames the SCG or some other SWAC related venue after Coach Robinson. :tup: If the SWAC office mandates that a patch be worn by all football teams, so be it. Although I'm truly not in favor of it. No one is greater than the whole. That's my only point.
 
Coach Rob can't be contained........ A lot of people do great things, but Coach Rob is all in a class by himself. You are educated man, you've got to see that.
