Trey Johnson of the Bakersfield Jam has been named NBA Development League Player of the Month for games played in December.

The honor, the first of the 2010-11 season, is also the first of Johnson's career.

Johnson, a 6-5, 215-pound guard out of Jackson State who earned two call-ups to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009, led Bakersfield to an 8-2 record on the month, averaging 27.6 points, 4.9 assists and 4.3 rebounds.

I also heard that Brion Rush(Grambling) ain't doing to bad playing in Russia.

Either Brion or Obie played at one time with Peter Cipriano (05-06 SWAC Champs) from Southern over there too! Peter is still over there in Sweden I think.

Its alot of SWAC cats doing good in Europe. When I was in Portugal, Riley-Smith from SU was there too..
