All that's fine and good but the bottomline is: Totten Punk'd Yall. He came to Baton Rouge and dared yall to come to Jackson. That dude is confident that he's gonna kick y'alls azz. You can play it off about being a promotional tour but the bottom line is that he's saying: "Hey, I'm coming down there to call yall Yella". That's so disrespectful!
But seriously, why would he have to come to BR to promote a game? Y'all are the jaguar nation...surely y'all were gonna go to Jackson anyway. Why would he have to drum up support for your season opener? The game is being played in Jackson... I could understand him trying to convince some of yall to drive all the way to Itty Bitty but not Jackson. Jackson is less than a 3 hr drive. No, the man knows he should have whipped yall azz last year...He heard about how yall ran from McNeese and gave up trying to beat Northwestern and Nichols...He saw yall schedule an NAIA and D2 school and realized something yall folk fail to see:

99 the be exact. Aint as long as you make it out to be. BTW during our SWAC 3 peat. We beat GSU every year. Now on the otherhand during GSU's 3 peat you only managed 1 win in 3 tries.
No way to get around that GSU can beat everybody in the SWAC but SU. You are our b**ch and we like pimping you on National TV.
My question is this. Who will GSU hope SU lose to so yall can go to the SCG this year? No wonder MB is on Valley's jock. He knows that the JSU game against SU don't count and he can't get help from them like the past. He knows since GSU can't beat SU, maybe someone else can help gift wrap you the West even before we get to the BC. Aint happening this year. BTW, yall better be worried about Alcorn. Aint that game in Lorman this year?

Nope, Pete tripped over Hughes lying dead on ground. That's what happens sometimes. You trip over twiggs looking to avoid tree limbs. It happens.
The SU schedule is soft. So? Its not just Allen and Lincoln that make the schedule soft. We have 3 cup cakes, 6 marshmellows, and 3 honeybuns on the schedule. You all should and make sure your team is not included in the soft section at the end of year. MikeB you have permanent spot in the marshmellow pile, after all Valley and Miles did put up more more of a fight than Dougie's Get Fresh HoneyBun Crew.

I don't mind yall lying to me. I mean we ain't cool or anything like that. But yall need to stop trying to lie to yourselves. Yall know dayum well Pete done lost it! The man doesn't have the personality or charisma to generate excitement or get quality recruits. Haven't yall read the articles telling how none of the players he's signing ever show up or get eligible. If his program was such hot stuff, he wouldn't have to settle for props and SEC washouts who make 5 tackles a year.
I'm starting to think that Pete was just a figurehead. Just a frontman who relied on that Japanese dude (can't remember his name) and Vite to coach defense, Orlando to coach offense, and Kaiss to recruit. Since those guys started leaving, it's been steadily going down hill. Pete ain't won since those folk left and since he cut his 2/3's afro.

You are not gonna beat Grambling! This is the Smack page...I didn't want to post it here cuz yall might confuse it as smack. The fact of the matter is that yall can expect to watch the GMEN go undefeated this season. The question is "How long will yall tolerate these 6 win seasons?" It takes yall two seasons to win 12 and 13 games. We average 13 wins a season!
Coaches and players play for championships...Most (except yall yellas) fans want to see their team win championships. But I guess all those pre-90's years of mediocrity has conditioned yall to be less than a champion.
Do I want to beat Southern? More than I've ever wanted to take a leak... but If given the choice, I would take the championship. Most people who are winners feel the same. Unless you've accepted being a once-in-a-while champion!

I know that FOUR years seems like a long time to some of you Grambling folks, but just be patient.
We have just been recently upgrading some of our other sports programs. You see the key word there is PROGRAM. We are not just a football school. We have an ATHLETIC PROGRAM. We had to let some of our other sports win a slew of Championships to show you how to establish an ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM second to none.
So now it's time to concentrate on football. We will embarrass Grambling on NBC again this year(this time bring your A-game) and win another championship in Birmingham.
Don't worry, we will be back. This IS the SWAC right?
