Top 15 transfer portal players still available after national signing day

Way too many of these guys let those stars go to their head and think that they are a lot better than what they really are

That Clemson QB is a prime example. I watched him play a couple of times and he is no better than Jones from JSU/BCU.

Someone posted in a thread, that scholarships are year to year. If that is true, when a school decides not to renew an athletes's scholarship, when do they inform said athlete? That could be just one of the reasons why kids enter the transfer portal.

which leads me to think they just quit playing college football all together...
Probably most likely. Just some people, if they're not getting the jobs they want, they sit and bitch complain about the situation and don't realize there other opportunities available for them.

They could be informed anytime. But yes, scholarships are year to year.

I think those transfers in the portal got offers it's just not the schools they want to play for.
One of my friends son stopped playing because he wanted to transfer and it didn't work out. He told him if he couldn't play basketball at a P5 he didn't want to play anymore. He was looking stupid when three of his former teammates from his school went over seas to play ball making bank. Lol

That was me when I was young, and just getting out of college. I did not get the job I wanted. But if the truth be told, not getting the job that I wanted, probably was the best thing that could have happen to me.

Correction-
Way too many of these guys entourage and leeches let those stars go to their head and help steer the kid in the wrong direction. Then will be the FIRST to vanish and NOT help these guys when things get bad.

This as well. There are 4 stars that would rather switch positions to play at a P5/G5 school than play in the SWAC (the QB at MSU from LA that switched to TE/WR at UVA last year)

Yes they are year to year which is also why so many guys hit the portal whenever there is a coaching change

But most of the time, if a guy isn't meeting a coach's expectation they can just not get their schollie renewed (this also can go for the SA as well who might have been told that they were "the future" only to see "the future" in the next recruiting class and decides to hit the portal

You hit the nail on the head. Look at the article I just posted.

I'll treat this as a relationship, if you leave me it's know coming back. They have to be smart, if you barely playing at uapb who else wants you? Watch joshua short who was at Southern this past year and watch how his career pans out.
