To JSU and Texas Southern, I want good, FUNDAMENTAL football getting played tonight.

I don't want to see a lot of penalties by both teams. No more than 10 penalties from both teams combined. I want to see good, sound fundamental football. If someone in the stands is acting an idiot, please do not encourage the camera to show them on TV.

To the bands, I better not dare see a ref on National TV tell you to be quiet. If one has to blow the other out on the scoreboard, PLEASE don't let it be off blocked punts, blocked field goals, etc. Good, crisp football. That's what I want see. Good luck to both teams tonight.

...and coaches, lets look professional on TV. Shirts tucked in, etc. No sloppiness. Only exception to this rule is Derek Scott with his long shirt, white shorts, and hunting boots.

Who is alcorn to tell someone about fundamentally sound football? This is the swac, we all do the same stuff....worry about YOUR team.

As long as those SWAC Commercials come across the screen during commercial breaks, JSU and Texas Southern will represent our conference tonight on National TV. At least restore some of our dignity.

Look, JSU can't do everything. JSU and GSU have typically been on the only consistently decent teams in the conference. GSU has fallen so now it's all on JSU.
