Then ya'll are bout one of the few Universities in America, that is in an URBAN setting, that don't mark the boundaries by security to protect students and faculty on campus. Big piles of dirt just sitting up by buildings and parking lots looked abandoned
Su's campus makes the hood around them look bad.
That campus looks worse since 2005 & 2007. No progress at all.

Just cause your school is in the ghetto does not mean that the ghetto has to be in your school. There is not a better place for an HBCU to be than smack dab in the middle of the ghetto. But your school should be there to uplift the community not emulate it.
It seems like you guys have given up hope for Scottlanville and the campus. Don't do that. Try to show the community what it can become. Quit using the hood as an excuse for your lack of progress. Doesn't the enemy do that enough to us?
