She says it happened after a night of drinking with Lauer and others at a hotel bar. Nevils said she had six shots of vodka. Lauer invited her up to his room but, according to Farrow, Nevils said she "had no reason to suspect Lauer would be anything but friendly based on prior experience."

Ok...you have had 6 shots of vodka willingly.....then you willingly go to a man's hotel room....now I'm not saying she or any woman deserved to be raped but please help me to understand....if a man or woman for that matter invites to their hotel room after a few drinks....they not inviting you up there to watch the news or discuss the days events. I just can' believe that some of these women are that green. Moreover I can't believe that some of these men are that stupid to get puddin from you work.

I also believe this is an opening for her to sue NBC.

On a side note as my wife tells young girls...."Women need to be aware of their surroundings at all times and not place themselves in detrimental situations."

The majority of victims are raped by people they know or have some type of relationship with, that's why.

I think sexual relationships between colleagues should be banned and grounds for immediate termination.
I agree...there is too much of a grey area. I am preparing with a human resource specialist to ban inter office romance with my foundation. I nor my Executive Director has the time to deal with it.
