There must be a serious drug problem on LSU's football......

LSU had a freshman starting his first ever game after having only thrown 10 passes all season. HE kept Iowa in the game, then Iowa ran a kickoff back for their final score late in the game and never got it back after that.

That game should have been a blowout period. No excuse for LSU allowing Iowa to play them that tough on a neutral field. Even with the QB issues. Bad game planning by Les and his staff. Iowa was not that good. Better than they were the year before. But LSU should have been able to win handily with me or you at Qb. LOL.

Wisconsin is 2-9 all time vs SEC schools.

But in recent years they have played those SEC teams pretty tough. They will not be a cakewalk. The new Wisconsin coach is opening the offense up a little more than Brett did when he was coaching. They play sound football. Just will not have the talent LSU has on the field. That will make the difference in the end. But if LSU plays like they did against Iowa vs Wisconsin. They will lose. Whoever suits up at QB for LSU will be going against a much better defense than Iowa. Since it is the first game of the year and LSU is going to be pretty young across the board. Les better have a good game plan and his QB better play well. I expect them to win. I will be sitting at the game with my LB who's son will be a Freshman on the LSU football team.

Yet your Buckeyes had trouble as well.

With Mettenberger LSU beats Iowa by 3TD easy. All they had was a dominant running game that game. The defense stopped Iowa with ease after having trouble all season.Remember this is an LSU team that lost to Ole Miss.

Remember. Saying something even remotely negative about LSU can get one in trouble on this message board.

You damn skippy...at least for another 2 or 3 year...you will do good to remember that bucky!

That's what a Hater would call holding their own...but we now know who the LSU Haters are don't we JR, Number1, Sujagdie, EB and ect!

Should be a tough physical game. LSU has more talent. But Wisconsin plays well out of conference. They are not an easy win. Key to both teams is which one stops the run.

I doubt if Wisconsin will be able to stop LSU running attack. LSU only loss one lineman, three capable running backs and a couple of mobile QB(s). Mark my words on this one Malachi Dupre' will turn a lot of heads at WR and so will Dural. I have to watch the defense though a little closer because they were a little suspect at times. It's my understanding the DB(s) have been upgraded so I need to see how the DL and LB are going to respond. However, I think LSU defense will fair better than Wisconsin's defense. My early guess is LSU by 17 with a lot of ball control. I'm guessing 70%-75% run.

Not a true statement. LSU will have a veteran offensive line, a senior full back and 2 senior tailbacks to compliment their super freshman. The QB and WR (Z) position on offense would be the only sure "young positions." The WR position have two capable upper classman who saw action but with Jarvis Landry and Beckwith, there was just not enough football to go around. Don't sleep on that offense. That Z WR is no ordinary freshman.....

The defense will have quite a few experienced players with only two freshman that will probably start.

I am an equal opportunity SEC hater. Not just lSU. If it makes you feel better. I hate Ole Piss worser, yeah worser than I dislike lSU. UGA is probably my favorite SEC school if I had to pick one. Vandy or TN would be next.

I mean as in competing with them and not getting ran out the stadium. They always play tough in those match-ups. If Wisconsin can manufacture points against LSU's defense and force them out of their comfort zone(running the ball 80% of the time),then they can pull off the upset.

Last time I checked, Florida is an SEC school right? So when saying they held their own vs. SEC schools where do you get hating on LSU out of that?

That's one of those comments that don't mean much though I understand what you're saying and totally agree with what you saying about Mettenberger. Remember LSU is the only SEC team to beat Auburn.

If LSU fix their defensive problems, they are going to give a lot of teams the blues...BTW, if the spring game is any indication, the Freshman for Shreveport-Bossier (can't keep up with all of those names) is going to be the starter though I'm not completely sure. I'm looking forward to a real exciting offense.

The QB, Brandon Harris out of Parkway. They do have some young talent on the outside and at QB. Under Cam Cameron, I do expect LSU to take a quantum leap offensively. No, they won't be Oregon or most of the Big 12 teams. However, they'll be able to put up some points and help that defense out.

Oh BTW, tis the season for LSU players to get into fights in Tigerland and what not ... but then again, tis' the season for all college athletes.

True........I don't look for a few of those new kids coming in to fool around. I know those two prize catches (Dupre' & Fournette) IMHO are pretty disciplined (though still kids) and the odds are low.......However, unfortunately kids will be kids and there are a bunch of others. I think of some of the things I did at that age and cringe. :smh:  :emlaugh:
