The Walking Dead Season 7: Who did Negan Kill?

If I was Dwight I would have not gone back. Another issue I fully understand why people stick with Negan....they have no where else to go.

Shoot, Dwight was offered the chance to go to Alexandria with Darryl. He would still have his girlfriend, and he would have avoided the face burning situation. Now Negan has him by the balls. That's messed up marrying his girlfriend and then having her take pregnancy tests to mess with his head.

And yes, everyone isn't independent like Carol and other members of Rick's group. At first I thought this would be similar with Woodbury and the Governor, but the Governor hid his evil side and the citizens were pretty much oblivious to what was going on outside of their walls. Negan isn't hiding the fact that he's evil. Going to be interesting to see how their first encounter in Alexandria occurs(this was when Glenn got killed in the comics).

The encounter last night was weird but expected.

Rick is hiding his anger and it showed when he was holding the bat when Negan smashed a walker with another weapon. Rick tightened up the bat but knew that Negan's people would kill everyone in Alexandria. I have a feeling the Negan story line will go like this:

After Alexandria and Eziekial unite, Rick will hit Negan with Lucille and not kill him but let him walk out and get eaten by Walkers.

I don't know how long the writers will play the Negan story out. This can go on for a couple of seasons.
I read an article discussing how TWD is losing some of it's viewers. Through lack of certain characters being under developed, losing a favorite/loved character, violence, or the story line itself. Where there is peace and then chaos, and even in peace there are issues, and none of this has anything to do with the overall issue of the Walkers themselves.

I can understand the whole up and down of the story line, I will stop watching a show if the antagonist is always winning or if the writers make it so they almost get caught, but then get away. Like the show the Following I was good with that show, but then I got frustrated how the killer kept getting away and then he had followers which upped the anted. Look at any of the American Horror Story shows, the writers always had the killer or the evil get away until the last couple of episodes.

Back to TWD, I knew the other antagonist were gonna get killed eventually, but now the entire story line has changed from the comics so, I don't know what the writers have in store. but we are at four different stories going on.

Rick and the others at Alexandria
Darryl with the Savior's at Negan's
Morgan and (Carol even though she's at her own house outside the complex) at Ezekiel's
Maggie and Sasha at Hilltop
Someway and somehow there needs to be a coming together, I can't see these different individual story lines going on for too long.

Viewers are so wishy-washy. How you watch a show about the zombie apocalypse and then complain about the violence? Obviously at some point fan-favorites will be killed off the show, no one wants to watch a show where all of the main characters survive overwhelming odds throughout the entire series. Folks still hurt over Glenn. lol

There were so many times where I wished Rick would have smacked him. When Negan first arrived, I couldn't help but wonder why they didn't have snipers ready to take him out. His followers would have been lost without him. Then I understood why they didn't because Sasha (who is apparently the only sharpshooter) was at the Hilltop with Maggie, and their #1 killing machine (Carol) is having a bout of killer's remorse with Ezekiel and Morgan.

Also I thought Michonne couldn't shoot worth s--- until they showed that she was actually aiming for a deer that they didn't reveal until later. She gave Rick that "you ain't getting none" look once he let Negan punk him, take her rifle, and take the deer she shot. lol

I believe she was trying to shoot the walker and just happen to shoot the deer.

I agree, but that was a heck of a kill. In the neck where it needs to be.
That's why I thought she was trying to shoot the deer. You don't luck up and do that. I don't believe for a second that she waited out there hoping that a lone walker would come trotting out. lol

Ok this is about to get even more interesting to see where Negan lives. I like how they are showing various stories.
1) Carl is reckless, Rick should know that he can't leave his son unsupervised. lol

2) Who is watching Judith with Rick out, Michonne exploring, and Carl on an assassination mission?

3) Maggie is about to be the new leader of the Hilltop.

4) Seems like everyone is plotting to kill Negan except Rick.

5) Carol might snap back into assassin-mode once she finds out what Negan did to Glen and Abraham. (more so Glen since I don't recall her having any interaction with Abraham. lol)

This is why some people say Carl should've got his butt beat a long time ago. Carl can get people killed.

LOL good question

3) Maggie is about to be the new leader of the Hilltop.
Who became leader in the comics?

4) Seems like everyone is plotting to kill Negan except Rick.
Yep, when they got back, from the killings, even thought they were distraught Rick could've set the people up on a rotating 24 hour watch, regardless if Negan told him he'd be at Alexandria in two weeks.

Carol's connection with Glenn is that Glenn was part of the original group, so it's more of a familial bond.

I'm losing interest. The show has deviated hopelessly from the graphic novel, that it is taking on new life. The only thing that keeps me intrigued is how does the group get from under the Negan stronghold? No weapons, meager numbers, and a leader who is broken. I want the Rick Grimes back that would bite your jugular out of your neck! This Rick is worse that Farmer Rick. The writing needs to be more robust and the series needs to pick up on the excitement factor. Beyond the season premiere, it has been dreadfully SLOW!

It can't be all action, you have to develop the characters and set up the scene. Can't just throw Negan in there and then just have everyone fighting. Have to understand the dynamics of how Negan affects Hilltop, The Kingdom, and Alexandria, and eventually how they all come together to make a stand, while also seeing how the characters deal with the tragic loss of friends.

This is needed for the show to redevelop itself. I feel you though.

I can't disagree that character development is necessary. Collusion between the factions under Neegan's control is the only way to gain control, but it seems so impossible, what are they going build catapults and slingshots? My problem with the show's progress is I feel they are dragging the story-line to extend the number of episodes and seasons.

Hilltop also doesn't have guns I believe, but the kingdom does. I can see someone possibly stealing the weapons back or taking weapons from the Savior outposts.
