I don't like the term Big Three! For some reason, it just doesn't have the proper sound to it. For one thing, it's inaccurate. If you are gonna compare titles, you must look at the period when the teams that are a part of the comparison came into the league.

For instance, when I smack Alabama State about titles I only discuss the titles won since they have been in the league. By virtue of this only the GMen can talks Title Smack to Annie Mae because she didn't become official til 2000(once again proving that we are her pimp...MD, you can call us Ike)

Under this scenario, the jaguars need to stfu with the Big Three talk. Since GSU, JSU and Alcorn joined the SWAC you are not in the top 3 for football championships. Therefore, you cannot call yourself Big Three. From hence forth, I will refer to all of yall as "The Other Three" that way, people will at once know of whom I speak.

I initially thought to call GSU and the other three the tradionals. However, I remembered that GSUper said that SUcks is tradionalless. So for right now, it will just have to remain The Other Three

Add them up: GSU 19(thanks TD), JSU 15, AlcState 9, SU 8.

1. What is the overall serie record btw SU & gSU?

Ok...too easy! 1. Football (19 us, 8 for you) 2. Women Basketball (I believe you got your first this year)...we ruled the 80's and 90's 3. Women Softball. Not sure about the rest...maybe you can come up with your four.

I don't buy into this Big Three concept either. In truth it just the BIG ONE -- SU. Just look at the other two programs compared to SU. It is no comparison; old Rudy decided to put an end to the Commissioner Cup because it almost certain SU would win it every year. Just look at GSU and JSU this year. They both are one-sport wonders, GSU in football and JSU in golf. Amazing how these one sport wonders want to throw out SWAC history because they was not on the planet.

MB, I know you're an acounting grad and gSU folks have problem with numbers and figures and all. Let me give you a quick Math lesson.
1+1+1+1=4. Now you gave me three(3) and two (2) of those were in women sports (sissy). Now pick any other sport so I can close the door on your azz.:D

dayum MB...why did you have to go and bust the Sags bubble like this. Youknow all they have to go on is there dreams of greatness, and that twistyed belief that they are a football powerhouse.

You see how as soon as you call them out on their traditionless, hapless, one decade wonder football team, they want to try and dig up how good they are in non essential sports. I mean seriously....we all know that football is king in the SWAC(hence the Big 3 tag in the 1st place), and no one really cares that SUcks has a good womens bowling team, and can win at tennis. That just shows the level to which SUcks has fallen since GSU entered the SWAC. You are a sad excuse for a football program.....

But continue on and tell us all about the many years that you ruled teh SWAC in arm wrasslin, soccer, and fencing! Because trying to talk about history and your hapless football team, just isn't possible! You can add all the years you want to add, and you still don't measure up!

Trying to spin the records to make grumbling look good. But I
would like you to answer the question that was posed. What has GSU done in the SWAC as athletic program to warrant to be the big one. The Big 3 concept is not just football MB. I thought that was what everybody was arguing with Mighty Dog about. But since the rest of GSU's programs suck, I guess all you have to hang your hat on is Football. A few years ago all you can hang your hat on was Women's BBall. So whatcha saying MB? Can GSU only dominate in one sport per year. Maybe SU and JSU should kick GSU out of the Big 3. I mean SU and JSU have won multiple titles in other sports. Can anyone even remember the last time GSU basketball did anything in the SWAC? You used to have a good baseball program, but it has slipped. So the more I think about it, maybe the other 3 should be the Big 3. But carry on MB with this BIG ONE stuff. What it really means is ONE CHAMPIONSHIP. Please come back when you can win more than title and when you have overtaken SU in our series. So talk that stuff to the other SWAC teams that you lead in the head to head series in Football. BTW, SU owns you in every sport since we started playing your school.

No such thing as non essential sports? Woman please. Go stick your thumb up your arse and use your other had to cover your mouth. And stop searching for straws.......no one cares that you were SWAC swimming champs. I mean you won the SWAC women's b-ball title this year. But outside of BR, do you think anyone gives a dayum. hell no.

In the grand scheme of things, we all know that Football is king. And will always be. It is the beast that drives SWAC sports. Hell football is the reason that this board exist. I mean men's Basketball and baseball come next, and if we really want to reach we could say Track. But non of those share the popularity of Football. When was the last time you saw 50,000 people show up to watch a SWAC basketball game.

The fact of the matter is that you people see that list above, and you see that had a drougt between 1960 and 1993 where you winning a SWAC title wasn't happening. And you peole want to see yourselves as a football powerhouse. Yeah right. But if you feel better about yourselves because you were able to rack up enough non-essential SWAC titles and win a commish's cup or two. Then go ahead.....whatever helps you people feel better about yourselves. Just don't expect the rest of us to buy into your myopia!

We SUck in football, but we are SWAC checkers, twister, Taboo, hopscotch, red light/green light, jump rope, and hide and seek champs. So give us our commish cup!

No one from Southern mentioned women sport but your boy MikeBigg. I was hoping he'll list at least 3 men and one women sport, guess your boy teams don't have any balls against the men of Southern. That make y'all our B******.

Suge, Well tell me this, IF you school don't give a damn about them other sports, why do yall spend money on them??? It ain't like yall broke arses got extra money for nothing. If you don't care, then do like PV and show it. IF only football matters give all your scholarships to football and your band. In fact, why don't you tell your baseball team they don't matter right before Southern beats the hell out of them again.<br><br>The truth is you sound just like a broke b***h. Sports you can't win in don't matter, years your football team couldn't beat Southern in don't matter. I usually don't smack Grambling much, but you done started some isht now. BTW, if they did have a SWAC checkers championship, we would beat your arse that cause we beat yall in everything. I am glad you realize that.

All of this year, Grambling has accumlated ONE title (football).
All of last year,Grambling accumlated TWO titles (football and men's cross country)
Southern has beaten their last three years with just this year!(peep the sig.)

Two years ago, you couldn't claim nothing because Alcorn took your precious Women's B-Ball title and Southern was taking the football title through your ass, literally.

Now y'all wanna talk about being the football power. Hell, for records sake (and only records sake), you guys are, but tell the rest of your athletes that their sports mean NOTHING. That's an ICON? No Country Boys, subtract the"I" and then we know what Grambling has become.

You can fool the rest of these nuckas, but you can't fool Daddy ....

I don't have a clue of why you went to bed last night thinking of the big Three. As you know, you are the former big three. The future of the SWAC is with the future big three (minus one). It is a shame that minus one decided to defect, but that is ok.
