....ARe going to be so much better.

Now The Other Great One wont have to wait on Shaqs big ass to finally get down court so they can run that tired ass triangle offense. Finally Kobe and Butler and Odom can run up and down the court without the Big Loafer.

Now that Shaq is gone, we dont have to worry about the Big Free Throw Misser. We can actually play defense now. The Lakers dont have to worry about a big loafer so slow and lazy that he makes Chauncy Billups the Finals MVP. Shaq was so terrible on defense that he made The Glove look bad. The Lakers was the only team that could never ever defend the pick and roll because of Shaq.

We dont have to wait on injury prone Shaq to get in shape. Oops my bad, he is already injured and the season hasnt even started yet. Now we have 3 guys (Odom, Butler, Grant) that can score 15 point a game to compliment Kobe.

Now its time for the MVP to show up baby. You think some folks got dunked on, just wait. Look out Yao...

yet another diversion, huh GR?

damn
:smh::smh:

MH,
Aint it sad how low GR has sunk. I knew Bell had took a toll on GR, but you would think his foolish thinking would not carry over to him actually believing that loser Kobe will lead the Lakers back to the top. The Lakers are so dumb that aint even got the good sense(thanks Robber) to excercise the option on a young talent like Kareem Rush. I guess Kobe will carry them all by himself. ~snicker~

Did the Lakers give up on Kareems non shooting ass?....Good riddens. Hell if he could make a damn shot (and if the NBA hadnt plotted against the Lakers) the Lakers would have won the championship last year. They should have gotten rid of that lil scarey bastard.

But back to my beloved Lakers who just happened to win last night without Shaq(The Big Holdup). GR knows its a long season, but we are seeing more of what is to come. Everybody scored instead of being dependant on one or two people. Of course the team was lead by The Greatest hmself. BTW...KOBE....The non passer had 7 assists. The difference is he is now passing the ball to people that can actually make a damn shot. :redhot:

Yup, it shole is JR

A damn basketball topic during the first week of November. :smh:

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

but I guess when your football season ends in October, you look for a diversion in early November

so,
carry on.......

I know it's early but I will stick with what I had to say in the midst of the Lakers trading Fat Arse Shaq: The Lakers got the better end of the deal in that trade. Odom, Butler and Grant were great acquisitions. Is Fat Arse playing tonight in New Jersey or tomorrow night for the Heat's home opener? I guess this is the start of his 4th consecutive season of missing 15 or more games.

Well I guess I should have started it, then.

DID YOU SEE MY LAKERS LAST NIGHT?? (my school's team is 7-2, so this is not a diversion from that).

Unlike you mighty hater, GR can do more than one thing at a time. GR is a philosper and a prophet. A well read individual.

All you know how to do is :lmao:
and spread hate where ever possible.
So, dont hate GR cause he is beautiful

Yeah...and didnt yall come from 3 TDs behind with like a minute left on the clock? But we cant talk about basketball right now..... we would confuse some people on here that only have a one track mind.

oh yeah, my bad

on TSPN,
NBA basketball is all that matters. (especially the first game of an 82 game season)
SWAC Football is actually the diversion.
:smh:

Well MH, I'm not diverting and YOU of all people know why, but GR is right ....

Lakers getting that arse this year!

No mo Hack-a-Siht! Britches, you gotta play defense all around the damn court now and RUN, RUN, and RUN yo azzes until the Lkaers are done with you.

You think what they did to the Nuggets last night was a joke? Watch (TNT plug here) Them dismantle Utah tonight on TNT and tell us what you got then!

LA Lakers :uzi: :uzi: Rest of NBA

The Lakers will not shine without Shaq. This is like Scotty after the Bulls dispersed. I am a Laker fan since Wilt days. I wish them well. I just think Shaq made the frachise and not Kobe. I hope you are right. It is not about one player. It is about the Lakers. After all these years is still about the Lakers beating the racist-ass Celtics.

I love the Lakers, but they just got worked by the Jazz tonight!! The Jazz led from start to finish. I'm not saying that the Lakers would have blown the Jazz out with Shaq, but it would have been a lot more competitive.
You let the Jazz lead the game from tipoff to the final buzzer?!?! And this was not just some one or two point leads. The smallest lead in the game for the Jazz was like 10 points.
I love the Lakers but they don't have anybody that can take up the lane. The Western Conference is full of centers that were supposed to put a body on Shaq. Now that he's gone, these centers are going to have a field day. I can guarantee that Kobe won't be driving the lane like he used to do when Shaq would clear out for him.

What a difference a day makes. Laker fan co-signgin Get Ready after game 1. Now that the Utah Jazz done smoked that azz, you got concerns. Miss Shaq??? Did you see what the Heat did at New Jersey??? But hey, Kobe got his 38, that's all that really matters, right??? :mrt:

Jacktown, the sad thing is Kobe had 38, and they dayum near lost by 30. Man that game was over after the first 6 minutes. They fell behind by double digits midway through the first quarter, and never got within 10 after that. smh.

SMH at TGO, for thinking a team with Chris Mihm, and Vlade Divac at center, is better than Shaq. Dayum you James Bell.

Kobe better call T Mac, and find out what it's like to score 30 plus everynight, and lose by 20. Better yet, Penny Hardaway to find out what life is like without fat, slow, always injured, and out of shape Shaq. No mo lil Penny, paying for his own K-Swiss to play in since Nike dropped him, being reduced to being a role player, dayum if he'd just made that call to Kobe.

NICE

NICE

T-Mac's still losing in Houston with Yao...I bet Stevie Franchise is laughing somewhere.

Back to the Lakers...the Jazz were just a lil hyped up, that's all. They came out ready to impress the home crowd.

The Lakers are my boy's also ...........BUT ................once again .............

DID YOU SEE THEM LAST NIGHT. :xeye: :xeye:

BTW: If you have Directv, the NBA ticket is on FREE for this week and half of next.
Got every game last night.
