The Infamous "48 Posse" on YouTube!!!

I haven't seen the Ocean in a minute, but they used to be a force to reckon with..

OOS was our nemesis back in the day...:smug: Then afterwards, I would hope lilC would hurry up and reach 18 so we could party together...
I just love cajuns
......

:goof:

Lee's not bad, it's just some things stylistically I think he didn't want to continue with the Ocean (like coming from the hole, the uni- you shoulda noticed by now that the shoulder crests are gone, block band, trbns in front, quads added, marching style) that the alumni weren't feeling he was right to do that because it was the Ocean's identity.
Man, I'd love the Ocean all over again, if they got rid of those quads.

:)

I remember in 93, SU came to town and played TSU in the Astrodome and did a tribute to Butler with the gospel show...TSU was barely 50 deep

In 89', what show did TSU do? On Youtube, they have 2 shows from the 80s by TSU at Southern and one was where they got house with the Love Me Tonight Ballad and the other was a Fatboys dance routine or something like that

The fat boys routine by TSU was done in 86 with Get Uper and 87 with wipe out. I havent seen the 89 show on youtube in 88 TSU and SU didint battle because of a hurricane.Swac History

I talked to Bedell last night about the 48 Posse. He's honored to have been a part of it. :smash:

That band was hand pick by Roy Johnson... the best 48 musicians that sent a powerful message to the administration. "Don't F*^$ with me or I will march the spirit of '76... a drum and a flute" as Doc said so eloquently.

Oh yea, I was one of them too!:hat:

One of Doc's famous quotes, "The Spirit of '76 carried the hopes and dreams of the entire nation with 2 drums and a phife(sp), translation is I would love to have you (march in the Jukebox), but I don't need you!"

:topic: Take a bucket of water, now dip your finger in the bucket.
There is a drop on your finger, but the bucket does not even know that it is gone.
:argue:
Thats what you are... a drop in the bucket. We won't even miss you!
