The ICON? Yeah, right!

Boss
The ICON??? Yeah, right!

From the Clarion-Ledger

Two-time defending champ Grambling has just 53 rushing yards on 52 carries through two games. Also, the G-Men have allowed 87 points, the same total they allowed in their first six games last year.

Dayum Prodigy, now we are going to have to hear all these excuses, Kent's interceptions, JW's still our coach, etc.... just because you decided to expose our disrespected champions.

:shame:

Dayum Grumbling. Maybe ya'll should move Bruce Bruce to fullback and let Coach Dougie Fresh use some left over eligibilty and be player/coach the rest of the season.

Just off the top of my head (no news column needed)...

Robert Kent is already on pace to pass his career high interception record of 21 ints. To add to that, Kent still has to face Grambling and Alabama State, two teams that are responsible for almost half of his interception total from last year.

Somebody left the gate open!!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Late breaking news...

Robert Hughes is the coach at Jackson State.

Dude, Bama State had zero interceptions against JSU last year. Try doing a little research before posting. You're making yourself look like a dumbazz.

And as far as facing Grambling this year....

Oh, so what you are saying then is that Grambling was responsible for almost a 3rd of the INTs Kent threw last year.

Thanks for the correction!!!!

And we're still in first place in the SWAC West...After kicking Alcorn's azz. Yep the same Alcorn that TP was "yanking" on prior to last week.

Funny how we ain't heard from him since we hung an ankle up Alcorn's azz or yall got disconnected by AT&T State!

"Prod" & "Git"you both have until 12noon tomorrow (09/14) to take advantage of the early payment option...don't let false pride cost you any more money.

Actually, what I'm saying is that Kent himself was responsible for the picks. Grambling's suck-azz defense had nothing to do with it.

And to think.... this year that of yall's is defense is

If the defense had nothing to do with it, I guess what you are really telling us is that Kent just sucks as a QB..... :bawling:  :bawling:  :bawling:  :bawling:  :bawling:  :bawling:

We will do whatever we have to do to win. Let not change the subject, lets finish talking about your team being 2 game below .500.

Yes, this is sad. But why hold GR, Robber, and JST responsible. I think that you should hold Dug responsible? Afterall, he's the GENIUS who's playing those suck-azz QBs!

2 games below .500 and fading fast...

Got a tough next two weeks against two traditional rivals in two huge venues. Can your players get up for both games? If/when you lose to TnState will dissension hurt your chances agains SU next week?

Two things hurting yall: Hughes and Kent!

Hughes===> Because he's not a head coach...a good assistant, but not a head coach!

Kent===> See above! He's trying to do too much in order to compensate for the defiencies in your coaching staff and on your team. A lot of talent and ability, but trying to take too much on his shoulders. Reminds me of Lindsay Hunter when he shot yall into and out of the BB championship tourney win.

He puts up big numbers, but overconfidence in his ability to make the play hurts the team when he forces interceptions. If you had a head coach with a clue, he would not put such a talented player in "desperate" situations. Reminds me of how Cordell Jones went "pass crazy" with McNair and didn't develop the total team or have an effective team game plan.

It gets worser......

I just want to ask you one question.....Do you realize that in football, the object of the game is to score more points than the other team and win the game?

I mean who cares if you put up 1,000 yards of offense...you are still 0-2. But continue grasping for straws. I know right now you guys are looking for anything to hold on to.

So instead of comparing apples to apples, you want to compare apples to oranges huh? You take Kents stats from the A&T game of week 2 and compare them to Eugene and Cooper stats from the McNeese game in week 1 just to make your argument. :smh:

GR, Robber, TP, JST...this is your fault!

Man yall can give up trying to talk logic to this dude. Just let time show him that they are headed towards a losing season. They can figure things out AFTER he pays my dayum "fiddy". But it's almost pathetic that fans get caught up in one player's stats while the team is doing down the toilet bowl. Hell, they are worser than Hughes.

A smart coach would put that dude under center and teach him how to read opposing defenses. Have a running back behind him, so that teams have to defend the run and the pass. Did you notice how Coles had Kennedy under center UNTIL it was an obvious passing down? That keeps the defense honest. Instead of implementing a balanced offensive game plan that could take advantage of Kent's abilities, he has him in that shotgun throwing the ball 40-55 times a game. Then late in the game, when he's trying to "zip" it in there...the "zip" is gone and interceptions occur. (Usually about 2 per game on average) I predict he will exceed the 21 int's from last year. I feel sorry for this kid...such a waste of talent by a dumbazz coaching staff!

Amen Mike! And that ain't smack either.

Yall are pathetic. It's funny how much diversion takes place when one's team gets exposed. This thread was about how The Peon Grambling is struggling miserably on both sides of the ball this season. But instead of an explaination, I get this....

I didn't bring Superman into this. YALL did. So I merely compared his numbers to your QBs. I don't wanna talk about Robert Kent here.
