Oh, so you want SU to give y'all some props? Well, that is not the typical behavior or any bandmember or bandhead,
but when a good "waxing" has occurred, usually, some form of props will be given.

A word of advice; don't worry about what other people think about you or your school. Just don't let it get to you.
Everybody does not see the world as you do. Some folks like power; some folks like technique.
Some folks like brass; some folks rather woodwinds. In either case, do you!

Now, come Friday, if SU does anything "good" I am assuming you will be standing and clappin just like some SU fans
will be standin and clappin for your school. But, based on past experience, I would not expect to get many props on this board.
But rather, applaud your school for doing their best as I will be applauding mine for doing theirs because I am sure both bands will do their best.

Here's to hoping that Friday will be entertaining.

Until you realize we don't GAF what you think you'll stay a cry baby. This is not a campfire where we gather around and sing Kumbaya. This is a daymn WAR!!!! Grow a pair and STFU!!!

You posted that and the fact of the matter is that the percussion was still setting up. The difference between that and ya'll is that we rebounded. While a'll continued to sound a bloody mess. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

It's not an excuse Du'Mass. We fukked up and then came back and brought that drama. *ramblng just lays down like Superhead at a Grammy awards after party.

Oh, I remember that! That was when we played out in vegas! Man, we had a great time!

Anyway, no excuses here; they screwed up the intro. I asked someone near and dear to me (What's up #1 son?),
why they messed that up so bad. He said two reasons; one, they did not get the name of the song in the back,
and two, they could not hear/see the count off. Those are not excuses, that is what happened. Those kinds of things
do happen from time to time, but hey, none of us are perfect. '83 and '85 were close, but even we were not perfect.

Anyway, the best part of this battle was that before SU marched in, these cats from A&T kept hollerin...."COLD STEEL!!!".
I mean, they kept saying it every couple of minutes, so I asked them, (since I did not know crap about that school),
"hey bruh, what is cold steel?". He started laughing and gave me some history on their school.
I told him that SU can hold their own, so we talked crap for a while. Then, when SU marched in, he looked at me and said, hey man,
where is the rest of your band? They are too small to be going up against the "Aggie Pride" (SU had 128).

Well, long story short, about an hour later, and throughout the performance, dude had this look on his face that I had seen
many a time before. He finally turned to me and said, bruh, how are they so powerful? I took the time to expain an age
old technique that is taught at the "U". We don't blow "in" the horns....we blow "through" the horns.

Anyway, I wish I had that cats phone number; he, as an Aggie Alum, could tell you just how deep SU got up in em
after that opening number. Heck, even the "Funk Factory" came out and performed on the "Cold Steel" crew with blindfolds on.
