BREAKING: The Denver Broncos are moving closer to being sold.

At least four different groups have met with the team, said the people, who were granted anonymity because the details are private. The franchise is currently controlled by the trust of late owner Pat Bowlen, but its long-term ownership future has been mired in uncertainty and legal challenges as Bowlen’s children disagree over who should control the team, or if it should be sold.
 
The comedian-turned-media executive announced his bid in a statement to Bloomberg on Tuesday, telling the business network that he was encouraged to consider NFL franchise ownership by a pair of prominent league power players.

“NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft came to me in November of 2019 and asked me to take a good look at buying an NFL team,” Allen's statement reads. “And after serious consideration, I strongly believe I can effectuate positive changes throughout the league. And for that reason, I will be making a bid for the Denver Broncos.”

If successful in his bid, Allen would become the first Black majority owner of an NFL team.

Another sellout who uses Black folks and our political capital to benefit him whenever he needs us. That's Byron Allen. I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

How had he used black folks??? Unlike the professional victims Kaep and others-he did not whine and did most of his stuff under the radar.
Instead of running to social media-he went to the courts to fight.

Does he NOT own a network??? And have part ownership in another one??? Unlike Tyler Perry? 50 Cent? And the rest who are tossing out content that is making folks who do NOT look like us RICHER?

Instead of insulting him maybe black folks MIGHT need to convince him to get SWAC games on Bally Sports or ask him on how to get a network for an all HBCU sports network.

You just did the very thing you're trying to admonish him about! Make it make sense! BTW.... you both are out of line.
 



So, I'm some sort of an imposter and a sell out?! 🤣 Simple minds I tell you. My people quick to call someone a sellout that they don't understand but the real sellouts and we have plenty of Black sellouts (and for the record most Black sellouts do have Black spouses) are getting over and robbing the community blind.
