Has anybody purchased it?

I got it as a Christmas gift on Saturday, and I haven't stopped listening to it.
I really like it. This is a pretty solid CD; I like her vocals and the music.
So far, I'm really feelin' these songs: I put a spell on you, simply beautiful (with Al Green), california dreamin and hard times.

Naw, I havent heard anything about it Crit.
Is it a hood R&B album or is it different, cause I thought she was trying to do a smooth jazz album back in the day.

I remember seeing her sing on the AMA's one year she hosted and she sounded a HOTMESS!!!!!

No, this isn't a hood R&B album AT ALL. It's jazz, sweetie.
 
I have it and I'm luvin' it. My favorites are California Dreamin', Simply Beautiful, and Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.
 
I was very impressed with her voal skills. She covered a lot of tunes and they were great. I would suggest this for those that like jazz and easy listening music.
