...and invited a real team to play.

The attendance and the excitement of the Circle City Classic has been dwindling for a while now. They need a pick me up, a boost, a draw, a shot in the arm, team excitement, with traveling fans, with a live band, the best dancing girls, and the best talent in college football. So next year, they invited JSU. The other team will be FAMU. They got the best of the SWAC (for a change) v. the best of the MEAC (which aint saying much). That game wasnt nothing til JSU went, and it aint been nothing since we left.

Kent will be on the grand stage (if he doesnt go pro after this year) along with Chris Jones, Tim Manning, and Jeff Sanders. You will be able to see the SWAC on the tube and cry with pride. I will be the one with full blue and white body paint getting all of the crowd shots.

Im sure they have already seen the mistake they made this year by inviting SU and of all teams 0-10. One team single handedly killed the Heritage Bowl all by themselves. The other school is an unknown from somewhere down south. They are going to kick 0-10s ass out as soon as they see those people walk in there with those damn suits on. :rolleyes: Im not talking about the sweatsuits, Im talking about the lime green or banana colored suits with the matching gators and hats.

GR, the last time AAMU played GSU in the Circle City Classic it was a sell out. The executive director, has been trying to get AAMU to make a return trip for years. As of this date, AAMU has filled 6 Coaches(Busses) with fans. I will bring the list to the reunion. We are in April and the excitement is at an all time hight. In addition, the room count for SU fans is 700 plus. We have booked all the room allocated to the ACRG. For The Alumni Association I don't have that count. This is why we wanted to take SU to Indy to get them some exposure. JSU is getting a chance to play in the game next year, because I spoke to the director last month and told him that I had some friends in the JSU Mafia who needed some exposure like SU fans need, so this is why you all are playing. It has nothing to do with being great. Just thank the #2 smacker for trying to get the SWAC more exposure.

BTW, the Executive committee will be in Huntsville on Apr 27, to eat some more Bar B Que.

Remember the former big three need some exposure and we are going to do our very best in assisting you all because you did so much for the SWAC prior to AAMU joining.

my hometown. I don't usually get involved in smack bewteen other schools aside my own. But cracking on the crib is a no-no. Especially from a BAMA.:redhot: Didn't Huntsville just get jet service from Memphis in 98? I used dread my flight from Houston to Huntsville, when I worked at NASA. Had to fly those little crop dusters into the Ville after connecting in Memphis. Does Huntsville even have SW Air? ~snicker~

Those were 10 and 12 seaters. A crop duster is a one seater airplane.

SW said since they have service from Nashville and B'ham, Huntsville is too close. But we could same $200 by driving to either location.

The SU/Hampton game in 99 was the last CCC SU went to. BTW is that all the fans AAMU is going to bring? Only six busloads so far? Doesn't matter the Jag Nation will outnumber you Bamas anyway. Since AAMU Alum is raggin about Jackson and it's airport, why don't you guys fly?.~snicker~

JR, I don't have anything to say about the Airport in Jackson, because if Shony's close its doors over by JSU Campus, I am speechless in trying to explain anything else about the Cities.

We travel on coaches not busses and there is no need to fly.

JR, you missed the point. I reference April and the game is in July. But 1999 has nothing to do with 2002. Don't you know we are giving us a home game which will make more money than going to Indy, but we need to help the SWAC out and give you some exposure. Didn't the Advocate Reporter mentioned something about backwoods conference. Well now I hope his Newspaper will allow him to cover the game in Indy instead of getting the Associated Press report.

JR you know I have a lot of patience with SU smackers, because the more I try to assist you all the more you seem not to get it, but I am going to keep doing my best to bring elevate your program back to D1AA staus. Take JSU, they will never win another Eastern Division Championship, but GetReady keeps his spirits up and I admire him for that, but deep down inside he is hurting.

Go ahead and admit that since you couldn't fill your stadium the last time SU came to Huntsville, that you figured we better accept the invite to CCC to make some money. Don't fool yourself MD, the only reason AAMU will get to play in the CCC is because you are playing SU. Same reason they allowed you up there with GSU.
There is nothing AAMU can do to elevate SU's program. We are there. Hell you can't even elevate you own program. LOL. Do you think the CCC would be interested in AAMU if they were not playing one of the Big 3? Just make sure you have enough players left on your team to make the trip to Indy. SMH constantly at MD Logic.

I'm not sure when service from Huntsville to Memphis began, but since we had direct NON-STOP service to Dallas, Washington, DC, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston and other locales, whether or not we had service to Memphis was not really a big deal. If you didn't want to fly on a "crop duster," you could have flown a REAL airline like Delta or American or Continental, and come into HUNTSVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT on a real plane. What you flew on was your fault, not Huntsville's. :(

We aren't worried with SU's fans outnumbering ours. With our alumni all over the midwest (Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, St. Louis) as well as the numbers from the south and other areas that will be in Indy, you could have saved that breath you took to inhale SU's pubic hairs for when you may need to say something to someone on your deathbed one day.
