This is so sad....JSU isn't considered to be the best football team in their own city. How in the "L" are you going to be the best in the SWAC. Millsaps is 6-1 and ranked #24 in the polls. Millsaps homecoming is more important to the city of Jackson than JSU's homecoming.
PS: There is a rumor that the Millsaps Alumni will not allow the JSU alumni to stay in the better hotels in Jackson. Somebody better call Al Sharpton....

STERLING, Va. -- After an idle weekend of competition and a trio of losses by No. 13 St. Olaf, No. 15 Montclair State and No. 23 Whitworth, Millsaps earns its first D3football.com ranking of the season and the first since the poll's inception in 2003, entering this week's poll at No. 24.
Joining the Majors (6-1, 5-0 SCAC) in this week's poll are No. 23 Bethel who knocked off St. Olaf 35-13 last weekend and No. 25 Cortland State who defeated Montclair State 43-13 last weekend.
Winners of six-straight games in consecutive seasons for the first time in school history, Millsaps holds a two-game lead in the SCAC standings in front of No. 19 Trinity (3-1 SCAC) and Rhodes (3-1 SCAC) entering the final three weeks of league competition.
