The Atlanta Child Murders Revisited

Investigation Discovery did a 5 part special a few weeks ago and the city reopened the case. I don’t believe Wayne Williams killed any of them. What I do believe is that Wayne Williams was a homosexual and had a sexual relationship with Nathaniel Cater that he will not admit to. I also believe the killer was either a police officer or a black pedophile. I never bought in to the KKK connection because how can a white man roll in to a black neighborhood unnoticed. Another point that the ID Special pointed out were the large number of pedophiles in that community specifically the violent ones. Remember this was a time frame where the laws were not as stringent as they are now.

There was also a report of one of the victims being raped in a washateria(sp) by a known pedophile but was not investigated. Later the witness who was child was found murdered along with the child that was reportedly being raped.

Anyone from ATL care to discuss?

Wayne didn't commit all of the murders, but he did commit some of them. Wayne was a down low gay, and the boys he reeled in were suspect also. Wayne had a deep hatred for poor blacks. It was widely known around the hood. He thought poor blacks were an embarrassment to the black race.

Yea they touched on that. The crimes he was convicted of I find it hard to believe. This dude is barely 5'6'' and pudgy. I think he was physically able to discard the kids but not the adults. Lifting dead weight is hard. I agree Wayne was gay and I think he wanted to keep that hidden especially now that he is locked up.

I can tell you one thing for sure. I grew up in the ATL doing that time and my childhood was taken by this. Those are days and years I will never get back. The psychological part of seeing folks you know die and not knowing if you are next was hard to deal with as a child. We couldn't go any where. Always had to be on the watch. Terrible times. Terrible times.

I sympathize with you on that.

I’m just not fully sold that he committed them all. It was always something weird about that case that I could not pinpoint.
