If you say so.......But we both know what the deal is, that kid will not see a championship at tsu. The pros will find him if he's good enough though......

I'm sure this letter, didn't have legs, wings or any intelligence to get to where it was going on it's own.

I could be wrong...

Blue, I think what he is getting at is that before Texas Southern's football staff can even talk to a recruit they must first show the potential student-athlete the letter from the NCAA stating that TSU is still undergoing penalties. I don't know, but maybe you all have a similar situation where a letter has to be produced before any talking can take place.

He still has to earn it though Fiyah. We have had some that didn't. As you know,....some come to play ball, but the class room is in the far recesses of their mind.

Oh but they don't have those types of athletes at PV so he might not understand what you are saying Law :confused:

Interdisciplinary Studies offers students the opportunity to put together their own degree plan program.

I guess that's not "General Studies-ish"?

I see you really don't know what it's about...... It's part of the College of Education

ADMISSION TO TEACHER EDUCATION

As a natural progression through the teacher education program, a student majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies must submit an application for admission into the teacher education program. This is the first checkpoint for teacher candidates on their road to certification.

Admissions applications are accepted three times a year.

Students must meet all of the required criteria in order to be admitted to the Teacher Education program.
Once a student has been accepted into the Teacher Education program they are referred to as Teacher Candidates. They are then allowed to enroll in the CUIN professional pedagogy courses listed on their degree plan.

CERTIFICATION TESTING REQUIREMENT

Teacher Education candidates must pass two (2) state certification examinations in order to be certified to teach: a Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) exam and a Content Area exam for the appropriate subject and grade level.

There is nothing GENERAL about any of that

At least if you're gonna go see what types of degrees we offer, please go a little further and see what they are about.

TSU = Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies Degree Plan - Total Credits: 120 <-- see link

Can you count the number of elective/specialty hrs needed for this degree?
More than 1/3rd of those 120hrs are elective/specialty hrs

Dam near 2 1/2 years worth......

besides JSU in 2007, which SWAC team full of transfers has won a SWAC Championships? You can be full of FBS Transfers, Bama State, and still not get close to a championship in the SWAC

Just hope the NCAA does not care enough to strip that champsionship from you cheater and liars.

So you can have another excuse for not winning a championship in 16 of the last 17 years? I can hear you now, they whooped our azz because they lied and cheated those liars and cheaters! :bawling: :bawling:  :emlaugh:
