Anyone watching? S. Rosenfels two fumbles the last two posessions. They were leading 27-10 and its 27-24 in the last two minutes with the colts at the texans 5yd line. I feel bad for u texans fans.

Colts scored 21 points the last 2 min. Colts with a lead 31-27. I started watching the game with 5 min left in the game with Texans leading 27-10.

The Texans are an embarassment to Houston and the state of Texas. I wish they relocate with the owner.

S. Rosenthal or whatever his name is loss the game by himself the last 5 min of the game. That's not something you can say too often. He lost that game.

I rather have no team than a consistently sorry one. LA seems to be doinf fine without the NFL.

They have USC. We have UH, RICE, and TSU. They have the hostory of the Lakers, we have the Rockets. They have the Dodgers We have the lowly Astros.

Our best team is the Dynamo - I think it would be a huge mistake to have two teams re-locate. We would never get the olympics.

They do have Mario Williams. According to some people on this board, Williams was the best pick for Texans. How is that working out? :lmao:

Mario had 2 sacks and 2 tackles for loss, and spearheaded a decent day for the Texans line. In 4 games, he has 4 sacks, and I believe 11 hurries. They made a bigger mistake with Jacques "Where's The Ball" Reeves than Mario Williams. This game was lost with poor decision making by the QB at the end of the game.

..anyway.

No doubt, that's one of the worst ways to lose...but, we'll be aight as soon as we figure out what QB wants to do sum'n with this team. Bad loss...but, I'll still take alot of positives out of this one.

:smh:...unreal

I was a diehard Oiler fan. I have been upset with the Texans ever since they decided to name this team "Texans". It seems they can't make any good decisions.

Yes...naming your home town team the "Texans" is definitely a reason not to like a team...

The game may not have been as big as the choke in Buffalo in January of 1993. But it was a big one.

This game is not even on the same planet as the Buffalo game in 1993. Not even close. I mean, it's Week 5 of the regular season. Few people will remember this game by the end of the season.

Have you been on a team that lost a 17-point lead at home with less than five minutes to play? You do not think that this choke was big? Do you think it was a choke at all? Do you understand what I said? Read what I said and mention what you said to the Texan players and coaches. Tell them that especially if they miss the playoffs by one game.

1. No, I have never played football so I can't say yes. I have seen teams in college and the pros lose big leads late in games before though. That is never pretty to watch if you are a fan of that team.

2. Don't get me wrong, it was a hell of a meltdown in the final minutes against the Colts, but I don't think it was a choke job. Sage tried to make heroic plays when he should have played it safe. That is just not being smart and trying to do too much.

3. The Texans were not a very good football team before this game and were 0-3 coming into the Colts game. They probably were not going to make the playoffs anyway.

EB, I think he meant there was was a WHOLE lot more at stake when those guys choked back then. I guess you're an optimist where I am a pessimist because unless God intervenes I do not see any hopes of playoff acion with this team this season. There has to be some drastic changes for that to occur...

If he never understood why he was brought up to replace that kid from california he knows now....

When I said that it may not have been as big of a choke as the Buffalo playoff game, I was looking at the Texan's lead, 27-10 as compared to the Oiler's lead, 35-3. In number's terms and the type of game, regular season to playoff, it was not as big. But it was a big one. To lose that type of lead is huge, especially in the last four minutes.

If the Texans happen to miss the playoffs by one game and anything could happen (like the Texans being in playoff contention), they will remember this one.

It was a choke job.

It was not a choke. I don't think the Texans played the final four minutes scared or were tight. That is a choke. The Texans, especially their quarterback, made really bad decisions that cost them the game. Also you have to blame the O.C. for the loss as well.

I mean, why the heck are you trying to pass the ball with lead that late in the game? The coaches put the team in position to lose. That is a bad decision.

If Sage slides...there's no issue with the play call. I can't put this one on the OC....Sage, although trying to make a play (which I admire), should've been in safe mode and slid. The OC was going for the kill with lil-to-no-risk plays. It's up to the QB to take care of the ball late in games...he didn't (twice)...ball game.
