Tennessee State/SWAC





We need to impose a SWAC Tax on TNST FOR 10 years if they ever choose to come. That penalty needs to be levied on them for not taking the bull by its horns.....LOL

? Why? You want to keep them out because you believe they will be your permanent cross-over opponent and will treat you the way they treated JSU the last eight or nine years?

I started to say they might come if we kick AAMU out but changed my mind because I understand how fragile the less fortunate are...LOL

Never thought of it that way. You maybe right. We beat them consistently the last time they sought a series of games. They might be holding out because they don't want to tangle us every year.

I know SU got its fingers crossed that you don't have to be our yearly patsy.

You all are not an attractive opponent and really don't have any FCS conference championship pedigree. You just have that D-2 stench that runs folks away and that fact doesn't elude me when thinking about negatives TNST may tally when considering coming to the SWAC. If this was Burger King and I had it my way, I would have AAMU and BCU combine their teams when S.U. is forced to play one of the two and just count the game as 2 conference wins to save us a trip....LOL

How dreadful it must be to fear getting hog tied and beaten by a team without a championship pedigree. It must cause you to question the value of your many titles.

Don't worry too much about that stench. By the middle of the first quarter you will no longer smell it. The aroma of the crap we beat out of you will be overwhelming.

I got a better idea. Why don't we play with eight and SU play with eleven. When SU loses, it can pull a Trump and complained we cheated by fraudulently playing with an undermanned team.

With all of this talk about increasing bowl games and the creativity that the SWAC office has shown recently, I think we need to create the Disability Bowl with two permanent internal teams (MVSU & AAMU). Bounce TV would carry the game on Christmas Day.

We have no problem with that. Our opponent may not have that disability going into the game, but it will have one coming out of it. That would be at least the second team we disable that season. SU would have been the first.

The distance is definitely an issue for many of the conference members, but I personally believe that TnState would be good for the SWAC brand.

I dont get it either but distance isn't a problem.... its a 90 miles from Huntsville.... an extra hour isn't going to hurt anyone who already comes to Huntsville. I went there for two years....my mother graduated from there... and they seriously believe they are above everything else Black... They have that "we are better than any HBCU since we are in a white conference" mentality.... when they aint won shit in the OVC besides female track on a consistent basis. They have 2 OVC Championships and thats when the Cole brothers were there so Im not even sure if they count.
