Teddy Bridgewater is falling, and there's no real reason why

Very interesting that they have torn down the black QB for the third year in a row! Yet Johnny Football gets praised for doing what black QB's was doing 20 years ago.

Johnny Football has been hated on by whites and blacks for doing what he does and hanging out the way he hangs. The kid has the "it" factor and can make plays. He is going to be fun to watch.

You haven't watched many Texas A&M games in the past 2 years. Johnny Football had great numbers against the best conference in college football. Teddy on the other hand, racked up numbers against the FIU's and Temple's of the world. Johnny has the "it" factor. Teddy looked lime pure trash in his pro day and Johnny Football shined with shoulder pads on at his pro day.

I can't believe you would make such a statement. Who did Steve McNair play against? Please watch the video below.

What part of those guys showed better all around skills than Bridewater don't you understand? So now you believe that Teddy showed the same skills that McNair did in college?

What all around skills didn't Teddy show in college? Ok he didn't run much... But what else?

Lol!!!!!!! So what!!!!!!!!!

Teddy looked like pure sh_t in his pro day! Glove or no glove! What in the h_ll does him wearing a glove have to do with him looking like trash that day?

You are talking about what Teddy B. did with gym shorts on (LOL). What about what he did in the games agains Central Florida, Florida, and Miami? Don't believe everything you read about Teddy B. I believe what I see with my own eyes. If Vick and VY were not franchise QB's in the NFL how is a 5'11' less than 215lb QB going to be a franchise QB in the NFL? We are talking about the NFL. Will Manziel make plays in the NFL, yes he will make some. But, the running around mess in the NFL don't work. Sooner or later you have to prove you can throw the ball. If you don't belive me go ask Kapernich.

Run Johnny run, as long as he knows teams like 49ers, Rams, Cardinals, Seahawks, Saints, Ravens (2012), and Panthers are coming to get you. He may run around for 6 weeks, he may run around for 16 weeks, sooner or later someone is going to put an end that running mess.

McNair had a stronger arm and he was more mobile than Teddy B. I believe Teddy B. could read defensives better in college than Steve. Teddy B. can change the O-Line pertection at the line of scrimmage better than Steve could at Alcorn. Teddy is also better than Steve was in college at hitting hot routes. I don't believe Steve knew what a hot route was at Alcorn because the first defender in the SWAC was not going to touch Steve. Steve was worried about the the third and fourth defender not the first one.

Please pull up some film on Teddy posture and mechanics on the deep ball. When you watch it, it will answer why he struggles with going deep.

You asked and you shall receive. Check out the clip of Teddy B. Check out the plays he make at 1:45, 2:20, 4:45, and 7:10. This is the reason I feel Teddy B. Is the best QB in this draft, he can't be blitz. This is what set Teddy B. apart from the rest of the QBs in this draft, he can read defenses and control defenders with his eyes.

I've heard people say Teddy B. struggles with the deep pass because he reads shot to deep and a lot of times he throw deep late. Teddy B. can put the ball in the air for at least 55 yards.

Can you show me what Manziel does that you think will translate to the NLF. I don't want to hear tha IT factor BS. They said VY had the IT factor too and we all know how that turned out. I was trying to tell people VY wasn't a QB since his his high school days at Madison, but no one would listen to me. I know it's late so i'll check back tomorrow for your reply.

Can you show them to me?

So you are saying that he is 100% perfect with no mistakes being made, no flaws in his game? Like I said, he is a good QB and will have every opportunity to show his stuff in the NFL, he just isn't a Top 10 pick. Also ya'll are putting too much stock into his games against Florida and Miami. Miami was not that good last season. Florida was talented in that Sugar Bowl, but anyone could see how undisciplined, uncoached, and unprepared they were to play. That is why Muschamp is on the hot seat now.

That Florida game was more about how Louisville's defense forced turnovers and kept Florida's defense on the field. Once the teams came back from halftime, Florida made adjustments and essentially kept Bridgewater in check in the 2nd half. They had every chance in the world to get back in the game, but Louisville's defense just destroyed the offense. If Florida had a good coach or at least a good QB, they would have won that game easily.

You need to sit down somewhere and learn the game and review stats. You sound like a complete fool talking about the PAC is miles behind! I guess FSU winning the title and Duke having one good year got your pants wet! That is just plain ignorance. Hell, just a few years ago many college analyst were debating if the Mountain West was better than the ACC.

Your comments on Rodgers and Luck exposed you already. Teddy Bridgewater played in a non BCS conference and looked like pure sh_t at the pro day. Deal with the facts and stop coming up with foolishness.

My main point still holds true. The level of competition isn't always a factor is whether or not a player can play in the NFL. You're just arguing minutiae at this point LOL.

If you knew so much about sports, you would understand that this "IT factor" talk is a bunch of loaded BS.

Nobody was hollering "it factor" for none of the last 4 or 5 QBs to win a Super Bowl. That's media hype talk.

But I'm supposed to be sports-dumb? Get outta here with that mess. You exposed yourself. I've forgotten more sports knowledge than you'll ever know LOL

Yeah. You don't have a clue. Your comments say all we need to know.
Carry on with your ignorance.

I do agree with one thing, Bridgewater reads thr defense extremely well.

Yes! This is the truth!

Dude last I checked Bridgewater wasnt 6'5 240.

It's not even debatable who had the better college career or who put up the better stats against better competition. Bridgewater is slow, has small hands, is light in weight, and not tall. I wish the kid the best but let's not act like the kid is clearly the 2nd coming of McNair. I hope he is but I don't see it.

Russell Wilson dropped in the draft....and technically still the lowest paid quarterback on his team. He almost needed to win the superbowl this upcoming year to guarantee really big money. He is able to sign a new deal next year, but I am willing to bet his contract will be affected by how his does this upcoming year. (what have you done for me lately) They will have some selective amnesia about the two previous years.

Bridgewater is not 6'5" but he doesn't rely on his feet to make plays like Manziel does; therefore, I think Bridgewater may take less big hits than Manziel. What does having the better COLLEGE career have to do with playing in the NFL? I beg to differ that Manziel had the better career.

This doesn't translate to the NFL.

Manziel only did what his team called for him to do. He definitely can throw just as well as Bridgewater. Look at his passing stats this past season.

And I am old enough to remember that black QB's were not drafted for playing the way that Johnny Football is be honored for today.

Manziel's team needed him to win the SEC and he couldn't do that. The stats are similar, but Bridgewater's best receiver may be a third round pick, with no o-linemen or running backs being drafted. Can you say that about Manziel?
