Chris Wallace lost the SWAC championship for UAPB.
My brother give your own team some credit for playing well. They had been to
the game on 3 other occassions and were denied. Each time leaving the field
with the sting of losing. Each loss probably hurting worse than the last. On
the afternoon of Dec. 16th A&M were just not going to be denied. Johnny
Baldwin would not have it said that they had been "The Buffalo Bills" of the
SWAC. On that day they were just the better team. Give your own boys some
credit.In terms of C.Wallace say what you will but the fact remains he led the
Golden Lions to a place that we had never been before. The SWAC Champion-
ship game.

But you are correct in that the result would have probably been different had
Wallace been able to play the entire game. Remember we had already beaten
A&M a couple of weeks earlier. I'm just suprised you aren't giving your boys
any credit for playing well.
