If you can't run the ball shouldn't the defense drop more defenders back into coverage making it harder to pass the ball??? Exactly.......Great QB

shawty you TRIED to run and COULDNT run LOL... Pyscho please dont try to put a spin on it. It aint like you had ALOT of offensive yards that game.

Also Look at how many GAMES he WON last year. A great qb leads his team to WINS not a losing season.

You can count on your hands the number of times we ran the ball. JC threw the ball 38 times. If your defense can't stop anybody how can you win (AAMU should know this because ya'll offense is not high powered)? Offense was not and has never been a problem.

as of now AAMU's offense LEADS the SWAC so what are you talking about? and yes Offense WAS a problem for SU against AAMU last year.

Don't even disrespect Peyton Manning now. A great QB leads his team to victory. That's what Peyton Manning does. He takes what the defense gives him, and disects them apart. Kelcy did the same thing.

You named 2 QBs that had horrible games last week, and say they are the best in the SWAC. Based on what? Nelson's 33% completion percentage. Lander's (still praying for 'ol boy) overthrowing receivers and not playing live action in 2 years.

Keyword as of now. Us and Grambling actually played teams with a defense. About last year obviously defense was the problem too. And that's another thing!!! Our offensive line last year was getting JC murdered so he put up almost 3000 yds with no O-line. Great QB......

AAMU was ranked like 4th in the SWAC in offense last year, and SU was 5th or 6th (Below AAMU). And SU's offense is high-powerd, and AAMU's isn't????

shawty BCC aint have no defense.... you must not keep up with BCC. SU just aint got no Oline who can open up holes. You are saying BCC has a defense... and this is a team who gave up 61 points to NORFOLK STATE last year.

That was last year. BCC has a hell of a defense this season. They have a CB that started at Florida as a Freshman, a linebacker that started a Florida(T.Charles, the guy that was on that showtime special the running of the bulls), and a all-american saftey.

You just made my point. A qb that had no running game to speak of, and a team expecting you to pass, blitzing freely and you still put up the numbers he put up. During my time I have saw a lot of great QB's come thru this league, and I don't remember a swac qb that had his accuracy.

That's no excuse for only getting ONE YARD RUSHING total. TnSU had 6 1A transfers on their team. Two of them on defense (defensive tackle Lamar Divens, Vanderbilt and linebacker Kalvin Baker, Florida). So you're saying BCC's transfers stopped you all from running more than ONE YARD?

THe difference is BCC's starters actually started on the SEC level and were even all-sec. Big difference.

DO some research. THe Florida transfers both Started last season. THey were kicked off of Florida's team for off the field issues.

I said 10,000 to 20,000, and I was correct we had around 15,000 there. I said we take over 30,000 to Jackson. Ask TP. I mailed him the tape. I can mail you one also if you like.

What does that have to do with you only gaining ONE yard rushing on them? Bama State played a 1A defense and gained more than ONE YARD rushing. I guess you're gonna tell me that BCC's defense is better than Troy's now, huh?

DIdn't say that. We took what they gave us. Their plan was to take away the run and they did it but we burned they azz with the pass. Plus we won the game. Long as we won, I don't care if we had negative rushing yards.

How did he not look good against TSU... when had only had FIVE incompletions... completed 72% of his passes... and rushed for over 70 yards... 3 total touchdowns.
