I've heard that before.....like four years ago and you STILL ain't alright.
As far as a stadium, we've been playing in a 60,000 seat stadium for FREE for the last several years.

They already did that and it STILL didn't help su. No amount of waivers can't help get su outta the mess they're in.
Just put in the work like other HBCU's have done and quit begging and groveling for mercy.

Y'all definitley have the talent. I'm not familiar with your RB situation, but y'all should be fine on offense.

Now BACK to the subject at hand.
How will this new su coordinator handle the offense? How will su's players be motivated to play hard every game all the while knowing they have nothing to play for?

1) Berry was co-offensive coordinator last season, so you probably won't see any major changes.

2) If we don't succeed, it won't have anything to do with lack of motivation due to not be able to go to the Celebration Bowl. Heck if the team fixes the ball security issues and the defense shows some improvement, we could very well do some major damage this fall.

I gotta use this as a signature LOL....

But real talk about Southern. Unfortunately, this whole no spring practice thing has become tradition. Can't cry over that. The offense comes back virtually intact from last year with one or two losses among the starters. There might be some slight terminology changes, but there aren't going to be wholesale changes in the offense.

Defensively, I think the staff will be very basic at first and then slowly add in wrinkles as they players get used to their play calling. We have some good, young pieces in the defense to build on. However, I know we will still have to outscore people to win.
