Well rattlers are feeling pretty good right now. We know we got to get better in starting off fast and forget about the record of the opponent. Looks like Alcorn is going to be west champion. Rattlers are exited about the rest of the season. Go FAMU!!!

I remember the first time I heard that statement. It was at Tennessee State home stadium, my freshman year 1969. I played trombone in the 100 and we were up front on with the fans chanting in rythm, ”Damn you ”FAMU”! i knew right then I was in a special school with a special team of musicians.
We are SWAC and FAMU.

Damn you FAMU…if y’all were still in the MEAC we’d be SWAC east champs 😭

Congrats though Rattlers looks like nobody in the SWAC will beat y’all…represent for us in the Celebration Bowl when the time comes!
