Tonight Alcorn will play at Syaracuse. Tip Off is 6 P.M. CT Pre Game is 5:45. The game can be heard on wprl.org.

Alcorn held Syracuse to a season low and their zone took Alcorn out of their game. Syracuse was held to 37.5 FG%, Alcorn shot 43.8% Turnovers were the key. Orange fans were on the edge of their seats for while. I am glad to see these tpye games are over and SWAC play is here.

It happens a lot to them especially when they get into Big East play. Alcorn just couldn't take advantage of that zone defense that Syracuse loves to play. lol

MSVS came back from 18 down and even led before falling at the end. And the constant comment made about Valley was "this is a scary team to play considering who they faced despite being winless."

I just want us to pull a Southern and get ready for next year. Get 10-12 wins in the SWAC and make life miserable for everyone else lol

Congrats to AAMU on the big win against the BCS conference school :tup:
 
Great job Alabama A&M on getting another OOC win for the SWAC against almighty SEC!!! Also good job to Mississippi Valley State for almost pulling out the victory against TCU. ;)

This just continues to prove my claim that more SWAC schools should start focusing more on basketball, because that is where the conference can really make waves nationally.
