SWAC baseball weekend March 17-18

PVU won game 1 11-2.

PVU won game 2 2-1.

NEXT WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE HUGE. SU vs pvu in BR :swink: I expect a very large crowd. :tup:
 
In game 2, SU hit 4 homeruns to take a 5-0 lead. And scored 3 runs (in top of 7th I think) to win 8-1.

Homeruns were hit by McDavid (solo), Cox(solo), Anderson(solo),
and Revis(2-run homer).

Maloy got the win going the distance.

Merritt pitched 1st game for SU........no decision. He gave up two 2-run homers. McCullum got the win after giving up the tying run on a passed ball in the 6th. Shephard got the save. Mitchell got the loss.
 
Good win Jags. We are going for our 2nd sweep of the year. :D I will be in the house next week. :nod:

We can't get that many at a basketball game.
 
nice crowd at the game..the ticket takers were doing some work....

we should've won game 1 though.....game 2..never could get that big inning going...either someone was thrown out at 3rd or second...

Please explain to me how Gsu should have won when SU had a 5-0 lead late in the game.

Some schools have a very loyal following and some fans actually travel with the team. I have no problem paying for baseball at all. Its the best sports product the swac has right now.
